Yo! (It's a Philly thing, I can't help it), this is my quasi-brutal excuse for a webpage. Think of me as a drunk driver on the information superhighway...
Well let's see...if you are reading this you are very bored, and I highly doubt you'll find anything on here that is all that entertaining. But, I will tell you a little about myself.
I grew up in West Philadelphia, in the once-great neighborhood of Overbrook. I lived there until I was 18, before I moved to Audubon in Montgomery County. While living in Philly I attended the following schools: Cassidy Elementary, Masterman JHS, and the Parkway Program HS.
After moving to Audubon in
August
of 1991 I enrolled at Methacton HS, graduating in June, 1992. I played
basketball that year, and co-captained a 10-12 team (we started 1-8!)
that made it to the
second round of districts after upsetting Lower Merion on the road. I
attended
Ursinus College for 3+ years before the harsh reality of me being too
poor
to graduate from there reared its ugly head.
I now live in West Chester
with my wife Kim - we were married in July 2003). Until very
recently I was heavily involved in playing/reffing dek hockey, and I
still play in the occasional hoops, fast-pitch softball and flag
football league. My new thing is Poker. I love it. Right now I play the occasional home game with my friends, and I play
some online tournaments. With my body having been beaten to crap
with years and years of abuse (I'm 31 with the body of a 65 year old),
I need a low-impact outlet for my way-too-competitive nature.
There are a lot of people from my
past that I don't get to see very often, if at all. People
that were there for me in good times and bad, people that helped me
through some of the toughest times in my life. I don't know if
this is the proper forum for showing my respect and love, but I can't
think of a better one that's available to me. There is very
little I wouldn't give to be able to thank these people in person, and
maybe some of them will do a self-name search on the internet and find
my page. Hey, stranger things have happened, right?
This page started as a college project and stayed in existence as a an online photo album for my crew. There are 4 pages (so far) of old hang-out pics, and here are the links:
