A Ruby Dragon was meant to make rivers flow blood red. They are the warriors of the dragon world. A Ruby Dragon may look vicious but deep down they are protectors. They don't use their superior fighting skills for evil although if they were adoted by those who intend to use them as an army they will obey. They are very loyal and very protective of those who they trust.
