Some Flight Sim Stuff

Nothing fancy over here! Just a communication centre between friends or/and foes J

1. Religious fits

Only for the daring, those who like to live on the edge, adrenaline charged, never afraid to examine, to research and find the truth behind it all. Are you brave enough to enter and experience the greatest thrill of you life or are you going to stay as you are for the rest of your life? Not a massive page to read, only about one A4 (or Letter size) to print.

2. To be scene or not to be scene

The ever and long lasting fight of simulators to bring us the better scenery, or is the better flight model? A bit longer than the above page #1 and has 9 pictures in 800x600 full colour JPEG format, all 9 at a total of only 760k. This comparison has boiled down to the best of all and is between Flight Unlimited and X-Plane for me. "The others?", you asked. What others? We are talking about simulators that really simulate flight not those just trying K

3. FlightGear antics

Ah so! You don't know what FlightGear is all about? Enter if you dare, read, then download and fly it. Just don’t ask me if you can’t get it running. If you think X-Plane is a DIY flight simulator then try this one for size! (4 pictures in JPEG included, total of only 700k).

The following file is for the use with Flight Unlimited 3 only. By downloading, you accept the policy that all harm done to your system came from yourself using this and NOT by the files included:

This has been a beta for looooong, but I can’t see what must be changed... except to kill more frame rate!

Salt Lake City airport, only a meager 8k: SLC

Instructions:

Nope, not to install the scenery, that comes with the ZIP, but how to download the above! J

Our friends here have a severe case of space-o-phobia and they try to prevent their friendly free supporters to leech too much disk space for ZIP files (although I think they are more worried as to be supporters of all them em pee threes. Thus: Click on the link, it may download as it is or not. If you get the "Sorry ... page not available" message refresh the page via your browser. We now have the dreaded alliance with the Cache Crusaders, as your service provider joins the struggle. They are now both trying to be really funny and may want to display the ZIP file on the page as text, most of the time! Don’t worry, you have now kicked a hole in the pipes as large as the ZIP file you want. Go back to the link and follow the right click - save as action of your browser - as I use Internet Explorer as the example. It should all be there now. The greatest problem would be that your SP has the error message trapped somewhere, refresh is the code word! Last but not least, I don't have much support for the file you downloaded. I fly from and to SLC on my system as it is - I know you can do it! You are most welcome to add things to your liking, give me and all the others a copy, is the only redistribution condition.
