Welcome Students!
Welcome to Ms. Vandever's online classroom! I'd like to welcome all current, prospective, and former students to this webpage as well as any parent who has taken an interest in his or her child's education. This is the eighth year that this webpage has been running and we are extremely excited to be able to offer so much information online! I teach 11th grade Advanced Placement (AP) English and coordinate the hard-working staff of the Knight-Time Review (KTR), the school newspaper of Charlottesville High School, located in Charlottesville, VA. I have three sections of English 11AP this year and am also serving as the English Department Chair. By using the navigation bar on the left, you can find out more information about my experience, the classes I teach, and read about what our school has to offer. Under the links for each course, you will find a syllabus and book list, and updates pertaining to each class period.
