Hello my name is Val, most people that have done any research on this breed already know where they originated so I won't go into all that. But I will tell you that this is one of the best breed of cats a family will ever find. These kittens and cats are very people oriented, and will follow you every where. So don't shut a door on them they will let you know when they want in if you do.
I run and operate a small Tica registered cattery in Northern Ontario Canada. I sometimes get a bit of help from my grandson who is only 8. He just loves the kittens and has a blast playing with them. He also helps to name them so we don't call them all kitty. I expect to have about two to three litters a year. I like each litter to be able to have undivided attention and socialization. Unfortunately I am unable to show my cats or kittens, I don't drive so this makes it difficult to achieve. I am working towards producing show quality kittens but of course this takes time to accomplish.
This coming year we will have a couple new breeders, I have one of Jade's granddaughters who is a blue torbie bi colour. Shylo is a flame from Showdolls in Saskatchewan. We have Tenneille who is home grown and she is a seal tortie mitted, as well as Opal seal torbie bi colour who is also home grown. And of course a new male coming to us all the way from Okanagan Rags. He is a cream lynx mitted with such a mellow personality.
This year we should be able to provide some flames, creams, blue, seal, and possible other colours. Look for lynx patterns as well as bi colours and mitted. All kittens go to the vet for a check up and vaccinations before leaving my home at approximately 12 weeks of age. I will ship my kittens when weather permits.
