  B.S.  03  Capitán Christiansen

Was constructed in England for the RNLI in 1928 like life boat Rams gate type with helmet of wood of theca and boxes of flotation of metal and wood that went ordered under cover. He was brought to Chile in 1956 serving by space of 43 years the community of Valparaiso. 

During its service in England participation in II World War in the Operation fitted to him Dynamo, that required of small ships of little openwork evacuating British and French troops from beaches of Dunkerke in June of 1940, From 1993 hoists the flag with the cross of San Jorge refunded in the shield of arms of Dunkerke, authorized by the British Admiralty, the School of Heraldic and the city of Dunkirk. At the moment it is Cultural Patrimony of the city of Valparaiso whom it postulates to the category of Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity.

 

  

 

 

 

  B.S. 05 Valparaíso III

 

 

 

    This  is a boat constructed in England in 1950 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and was acquired by the LIfe boats of Valparaiso  of Chile in 1981. She is of the Barnett type equipped with two diesel engines destined Gardner to maneuvers on the high seas with wood helmet, moving 23 tons and to walk of 10 knots.

 

 

        

   

B.S.  Pumar  64

 

Used for emergencies of operational support weighs anchor fast and. Uno. It was constructed in Chile by the Shipyards and Arsenals of the Navy ASMAR, is a semi-rigid boat equipped with two motors outside hut with 55 HP each

            

 

   B.S. 06 Guardián Brito

 

 

    This vessel of greater spread , it was  too construed by Asmar

Doted of  2  Pentomic Volvo motors and two Water yet turbines,  develops a speed of 22 knots and it has autonomy of navigation of 310  nautical miles.

 

 

 B.S. 07 Capitán Simpson

 

This Lifeboat of the Arun type, belonged to the R.N.L.I and was acquired by our Institution in 1998.
