Originally called Crossfade, the company pioneered pub theatre in Scarborough, appearing weekly for over a year at Indigo Alley, before changing its name due to the change of venue. There followed 2 years upstairs in the Valley Pub, Valley Road, where The Valley Theatre company performed in its own custom built space in what we believe was one of the smallest theatres in the world, seating just twenty-six people.

The requirements of various licencing bodies meant we had to find a new home and from the 14th April 2005 we moved to the St James Community Arts Centre, Seamer Road, Scarborough.

We perform a wide variety of plays, from comedies, to dramas to pantomimes to stand up characters.
