Star Wars (all of them): Some great movies! Classic sci-fi and fantasy rolled into one

The View Askewinverse: Homepage for View Askew, the production company which has make every single one of Kevin Smith's kick ass flicks. Go here for news, clips, sounds, and other cool and fun extras.

Clerks: An independant movie by Kevin Smith, it deals with a day in the life of two clerks. Not for everyone, but I found it hilarious.

Mallrats: Second movie by Kevin Smith, this one is much more sophomoric than Clerks; did I mention it's also funnier?

Chasing Amy: Third movie by Kevin Smith, this one's a romantic-comedy-drama. Excellent film. Bring lots of tissues, though, this one's a tear-jerker.

Dogma: Fourth movie by Kevin Smith, and reviewed somewhere within the confines of the Den. A religious comedy, it's just as kick ass as the rest of his flicks. Ignore the accusations that it's "sacreligous," because it's anything but. It's a satire. This site has tons of extras about the movie as well, including a diary by Kevin Smith among other funky stuff.

Great Big Sea: This group of four guys from Newfoundland are amazing. Check out all of their CDs, and if you get a chance, see them live.

Barenaked Ladies: Another amazing Canadian group, I again suggest any of their albums, though their weakest is "Maybe You Should Drive," which still kicks ass anyway.

Fruvous Dot Com (c): The Official Moxy Fruvous Website: Okay, so I like Canadian bands, big deal. These guys sound great, but their sound changes with every... er... song. Check 'em out if you're into something different.

Crash Test Dummies: I figure I may as well list all of my favourite Canadians before I leave the country. Check these guys out, they're not your average band.

Sarah McLachlan: An amazing singer from Vancouver, this woman has a beautiful voice. I've only heard one of her CDs, but I strongly recommend her.

Van Halen: Whether it's David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar, or Gary Cherone, these guys always sound amazing; Eddie can certainly wail.

John Williams: Beautiful music. Check out any of the soundtracks this man has composed, especially "Jurassic Park," and the "Star Wars" soundtracks.

Danny Elfman: Composed movie scores such as "Batman," and "Men In Black." Check him out.
