Link to the Georgia Tech. Babak Vakili Amini (S’00) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology in 1996 and 1998, respectively. His master’s research project was in the area of current mode analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters in standard CMOS technology. He worked on the design and implementation of different electronic boards for industrial automation and instrumentation between 1997 and 2001. In fall 2001, he joined Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, as a graduate research assistant, where he is currently a Ph.D. candidate.

His research interests include the design and implementation of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits in bipolar and CMOS technologies, high-resolution Sigma-Delta modulators, low-power and low-noise interface circuits for MEMS sensors, switched-capacitor building blocks, and mixed-mode ASIC design.
