American Zoo and Aquarium Association - Founded in 1924, the American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums, now known as the American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA), is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of zoos and aquariums in the areas of conservation, education, science, and recreation. The AZA has one vision that boldly moves us forward.
Above all, we are committed to working cooperatively in our shared passion to save and protect the wonders of the living natural world. Our accredited members are zoos and aquariums throughout North America that have met AZA's accreditation standards. Each AZA member is unique, from the five-acre zoo to the 322,000 square-foot aquarium to the 3,000-acre wildlife center. Our members offer a rich array of animal and habitat displays for visitors to learn from and enjoy. For example, some aquariums focus strictly on freshwater aquatics, while others are renowned for their displays of saltwater habitats. AZA-accredited zoos vary widely as well, from drive-through safaris with African animals to walk-through habitats of North America species.
Gates of Splendor - For those not familiar with it, Beyond The Gates of Splendor is the epic story of five slain missionaries in the jungles of Ecuador — a story of murder and forgiveness that made national headlines 50 years ago — and has inspired millions since. This amazing story of a group of missionaries who found grace to forgive those who murdered their loved ones is amazingly relevant to the turbulent times we live in today. As we mourn with the victims of the terror attacks in London, the time will come for the survivors and their families to find forgiveness for the perpetrators of this heinous crime -- much like the victims of September 11th have struggled to do.
God Speaks -  So you’ve seen the billboards along the side of the road? Heard about them on the news? A friend mention them? Well we are excited that you have made it to this page to view what has swept the nation as a campaign for the promotion of God-fearing values that have been sadly out of focus in the American way of life.

Virtual Cave - From the comfort of your keyboard, browse the wonders of the underground! As a caver and photographer for over 30 years, I've collected images from caves all over the world. This site tells the story of caves in words and pictures: what's in them and how it got there. Because caves are so diverse, I've split them into four underground realms. Grab three sources of light, a helmet, some sturdy boots, and your mouse, and have fun exploring - there LOTS to see! Please treat all caves with respect as these fragile formations are easily damaged. Our motto is: "cave softly and leave no trace of your visit."
Zoological society of San Diego - The Zoological Society of San Diego is a not-for-profit organization that operates the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park, and the department of Conservation and Research for Endangered Species (CRES). The Society was founded on October 2, 1916, by Harry M. Wegeforth, M.D. It currently has a 12-member Board of Trustees headed by Yvonne W. Larsen; Douglas G. Myers is the Society’s executive director. The Zoological Society of San Diego is the largest zoological membership association in the world, with more than 250,000 member households and 130,000 child memberships, representing more than a half million people. Members enjoy free admission to the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park, a subscription to the monthly magazine ZOONOOZ, and other benefits. Both Zoo and Park are open every day of the year.
