Update on Thursday, February, 2K
My deepest dread came true.
In the words of a undergrad school friend "I am absolutely stunned and shocked that my name is not on your list of friends on your web page. Looks like you've reserved the list of TOPPERS of the class. Can't blame you. Well I hope you remember me too!" And hence I became the "evil, backstabbing bitch monster of the new millenium".
When I wrote about my friends in college, work & otherwise, it was one of those rare things that I did not plan or spend a lot of thought in my head. I scribbled notes on how I felt about these guys n' gals (aka guns n' roses) but after I was done, the thunderbolt struck. I knew the day would arrive when one of the ones that were left out in my pages wold shoot me down with a missive. I just did not realize it was a millenium problem!
So before another one strikes, my credit list will include some more of the Guns n' Roses:
D. Karthikeyan (E.T), V. Saravanan (Pulavar VeSa), Samy Karthikeyan, Murali, Thirums & Soundarapandiyan in college. I would justify my new found title if I leave these guys out of the alternate universe. I decline!
At Gandhinagar, I would say the same of this bunch - Sachin, Puskar, Pranav, Iris, Jahnavi, Vasant Jani and Sebastian Verghese.
I feel the guiltiest about the high school pals - Karthikeyan, Hariharan, Paul Vijay, Anand, Mohan & Vaidyanathan. I surely need to rave more these great guys. At a later time though.
