| This page is created by VICCHA A non-profit organization founded in February 1977 to serve as a support group for families as well as for day care providers and to improve the standards of day care in the private home. The Association is not a daycare system and in no way approves homes. Each home, whether state licensed, social service approved, voluntarily registered or other, is designed to fit individual needs. There is no cost to parents for referrals. There are no other hidden fees or charges. All providers are independent business people. OBJECTIVES: 1. To help day care providers be more productive business people, as well as better qualified and trained professionals. 2. To help the community / parents locate qualified day care providers without paying referral fees. 3. To raise the level of professionalism within the home child care business.
