This is the web page of the rank and file members of the United States Chess Federation that is in the process of creation in order to secure the best interests of the membership without discrimination in regard to race, religion, ethnic origins, gender, political views and age of the membership.

Check out in the News group of rec.games.chess.politics where many of our USCF's socalled leaders rant and rave without providing the rank and file the basic facts of the issues involved.

They often appeal to the lowest human traits by continued petty backbiting without even mentioning the other parties by name, as they talk lightly talk about cutting up the membership (and resources) of our organization into two or more organizations, or proposing one financial scheme or another that will affect US chess players for years to come without the membership being fully informed of what's going on while the state of the USCF drifts into chaos and desrepair.

The membership is hardly mentioned at times as the socalled leaders don't really have concern themselves with what we the members think as they only care about the different power brokers maneuvers, as at present the USCF and its opposition factions (mostly are composed of the different competing vested interests) shift to and the balance of power.

Those financial interests thru proxies have caused the USCF to stagger and faulter in representing US chess taking us back to the good old days where the organization was non-existent and weak.

They propose moving the USCF headquarters from its Newburgh site (where they own the building) without requests for bids, full and proper discussion by the membership (in hopes of a coup de etat of subversive means). They discuss how one of their kind, or another has been bought off, and how the membership has been cheated.

Hopefully in the coming months we will be establishing our presence and make our feelings known, as we are the USCF, and the Executive board election approachs near (in which we will support established or write-in candidiates in order to put an end to the mischief) to re-establish the rights of the membership that includes the disenfranchised under 16 years old age group who have not been allowed to vote though they pay dues, are chess experts, grandmasters, most important of all members who should not be taken for granted.

As such The USCFRNF (United StatesChess Federation Rank and File Committee has been created in the interests of all members, chess, and chess players to preserve the integrity of our organization we ask your support as there is much to do.

Provisionally we created a website:

http://uk.oocities.com/uscfrnf

http://groups.msn.com/USCFRNFUSChessFederationRankandFileCommittee

and we also have a webring that you webmasters can join

http://www.webring.com

and created the United StatesChess Federation Rank and File Committee Webring on which your support and web site can be registered.

as well as established forums:

http://b.webring.com/forum?forum=uscfrankandfile1 USCFRNFUSChessFederationRankandFileCommittee@groups.msn.com

http://groups.msn.com/USCFRNFUSChessFederationRankandFileCommittee

You can become a member by registering online, present research, and discuss the real issues, stay in specific contact with your fellow rank and filers and prepare for all other USCF political activity.

We will be establishing a newsletter (and encourage your submissions), and are currently taking a poll on the moving of the USCF's headquarters from Newburgh, NY, which we will fine tune with followup polls (in the coming weeks) so as to be able to define the issues as you see them.

Thank You
