The History
of the
965th Field Artilliery Battalion
in
World War II
This web-site is dedicated to the men of the 965th Field Artillery Battalion (965th FA Bn).  This site was created on
27 Nov 02 by John B. Jardon, son of MSG Bourke J. Jardon, a member of the 965th FA Bn. (This is the first web-site I ever created, so many of the links may not be operational yet.  Please check back in a week or so then hopefully everything will be ironed out.) The primary documents I used to create the web-site was the Combat Diary and the General Summary of History.  Both documents were from the Headquarters of the 965th FA Bn.  I have included a link that will give you the GPS locations in Europe of the cities and towns that the 965th set-up at.  Many of these towns are very small and may not be located on a standard map.
