Ursula's Amputee Page

I am an amputee as you already guessed, since that's what I called my page, and all. But I got my amputation by convincing my doctor that my leg hurt real bad and he didn't know the difference.  So I got my hearts desire....a shiny new prosthesis.  Isn't that a hard word to say?  And I had to go to a prosthetist to get it...That's even harder to say, isn't it? I was thrilled about my shiny new Century 23 knee in my beautifully sculpted leg.  It looks so natural, no one would know that it isn't my real leg when I wear it.  I just love knowing that everyone can see my new leg and know that I got what my heart had wished for for forty years.  I feel like such a school girl again learning all the new techniques and all. I decided to post a few pictures of me in my wheelchair....Don't I look great.  My friend Chrissie took them for me.  She uses a chair too and we have this club we call crip chicks in chairs.  We have what everyone wants, beautiful shiny chairs and disabilities that make us more attractive.  We are thinking of making up a set of photos of us doing what we do and maybe offering them for sale and all....let us know if you are interested in buying them.  I need a new way to make lots of money and I heard that this is a good way.

This is my best friend, Chrissie.  I think she put too much bleach in her hair in this picture.   I think she would really look so much better if she matched her hair color to her eyebrows.  Don't you think she looks like the star of Suddenly Susan?  I really do.  She has the same attractive eyebrows, don't you think?  I like being with pretty people.  I get more attention that way.

Chrissie took this picture.  It is a crotch, stump and prosthesis shot. You just can't do better than that!!!  I think this picture could be an ASCOT picture of the year.!!!

This is just more of me and Chrissie doing what we like to do.  I just love performing for the camera.  Perhaps I can actually do a video some day.  Would any of you be interested in something like that???????
