Weekend Turns Sour: What was looking like an amazing weekend for Pike along the Toronto Harbourfront turned out to be a bummer. The warming water's progress was halted by a cold front that brought through rain, clouds, and fog. I fished the foot of Spadina and had a few follows but no strikes.

Leslie Spit: I didn't have even as much luck as at the Harbourfront at the Lelsie Spit with heavy fog restricting vision to about 20 feet. Another fellow angler had on a nice pike for about five seconds until his rapala came loose, rocketed through the sky, and lodged itself into his jacket collar.
