Skyline of Montevideo across inlet of River Plato (silver).  Notice the palm trees.  There is a long line of palm trees across Uruguay and Argentina all the way to Chile.  Archeologists believe that these trees record an ancient trade route where natives discarded seeds after eating the fruits that they carried to sustain themselves during the long journey.
