If you know Yosemite you understand it's draw. I drove buses in the park, so I could live there and experience its beauty. From Sentinal Dome to the back sides of Toulumne Meadows Yosemite has impacted my life.

The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) was introduced to me 4 years ago by my wife, Susan. It is our goal to walk the PCT from Castle Crags, California to the Canadian border. Section by section, we are accomplishing that goal. By the end of this summer, we will have completed the sections from Castle Crags to beyond the Oregon border.

During the cooler months we day hike on roads and trails from Mt. Shasta to Crater Lake. When the snow arrives, we cross country ski and snow shoe between those same two landmarks.
