We are here to present you with the teachings of the Buddha, emphasizing on the early Sutta (the Buddha's discourses) and Vinaya (disciplinary rules laid down by the Buddha). In particular, we would like to focus on the early Sutta as it contains clear and profound words of the Buddha. We encourage a thorough study of the early Sutta, followed by a wise investigation over it.
This website is managed by an Indonesian Buddhist group, Taman Budicipta. Its participants are located world-wide: Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, Canada, and United States. Besides the regular discussions based on the early Sutta, this group occasionally does charity work to help victims of natural disasters, financing the education of poor children, etc. Supporting Sangha, the community of Buddhist monks, has also been the activity of this group.
