PERSIAN CLUB
Our club is built around the fundamentals of teamwork.  By working together, we can accomplish much more than we could individually.  For any event that our club puts on or partakes in, we use the fundamentals of teamwork to lead us to success.
CONSTITUTION
The Constitutional Goals of our club are to 1. Bring the Persian community at the University of Nevada, Reno together and celebrate Persian festivities.  2. Educate others about the rich Persian culture and alleviate negative stereotypes that people may have.
CALENDAR
-Meetings are on Mondays at 7PM at JTSU Pine Lounge.
-Meetings are held once in every two weeks.
COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
Our club is very active in the community.  In only our first year and a half we hosted two cookouts for the community and raised over $1,600.  Club members voted to donate nearly half of that to charity! We also participated in Night of All Nations.
MEMBERS
Out club began in January, 2003 with 13 members.  We have peaked at approximately 20 members and currently we have 10 members.
AWARDS &
RECOGNITION

By the end of our first year and a half we became well-established on campus, and out of the 150 clubs that were eligible to receive 5 club awards, our club  received, the "Advisor of the Year" for the hard work our advisor, Dr. Saiidi had done.
An article was also published in the school paper about our club and culture.
