Youth Education Services

Just as our Sanctuary services are designed for adult issues, challenges and pleasures, our Youth Ministry programs are designed for the interests and pleasures of young people. We have a well-rounded, spiritual curriculum based on each child's age and level of understanding. For this reason, we proudly recommend that children and teenagers attend the classes that are structured for them. The first time you visit Christ Church Unity our ushers or youth ministry Greeter will assist you in finding the right classroom(s). It is helpful to arrive at least 15 minutes early for service as we have a classroom sign-in policy for nursery through the fifth grade. The adult who signs a child in for class must also sign them out. Our Youth Education Program takes place on Sunday morning at 10:15 a.m. concurrent with the Adult Service. As our Volunteer Teaching Team prepares an hour-long lesson, we ask that children age 2 through 5th grade, arrive between 10:15 and 10:30 a.m. to maximize the class experience when it begins.  The Teen classes (6th -12th grade) begins at 10:30am.  Prior to the end of the Service, the children and teens join the adults in the Sanctuary for a special blessing acknowledging their contribution to our spiritual family, followed by the Peace Song, then are dismissed and return to their classrooms where their parents may pick them up. Our teachers embrace a loving, spiritual consciousness and are eager to share this consciousness with your children. This includes discussing principles that revolve around God's unconditional love, forgiveness, respect, love of oneself and, most importantly, the spirit of God that lives inside each one of us. Our interactive classrooms enlighten your child through Bible lessons, meditation, love offerings, principle-related storybooks, real-life experiences, songs, games and artistic expression.
