Welcome to United Society of Adults, Inc. websites!
We are excited to share with you our organization, programs, and
resources! As you may know, we are
a community-based and nonprofit organization that seeks to guide, provide,
and enable educationally and financially disadvantaged individuals and
their families through language and computer literacy, and career
preparation programs.
Our mission is to unleash human potential to become model citizens.
We are committed to the vision of developing a community of lifelong
learners and articulate leaders who legitimately represent and are
accountable to their families and communities.
About us
- Established
in 2007, the United Society of Adults, Inc. is a collaboration effort
between the Latino Pastoral Action Center, the Tolentine Zeiser
Community Life Center, the Urban Justice Center and the NYS-SBDC.
- The
organization serves as an agent to address the varying needs, skills,
and abilities that educationally and financially disadvantaged
individuals and their families have and to guide, provide and enable
them to participate fully as community members and workers.
- The
organization is formed as a community-based to conduct activities that
are exclusively charitable and educational within the meaning of the
nonprofit, for the purpose of: providing community members with
language literacy, computer literacy and career preparation programs.
