| Minutes for UPM meeting on March 3, 2001 |
Meeting called to order at 6:55 p.m. in Annabel Taylor Hall. In attendance:
Lady Butterflyrain Astes Buddha Brian - timekeeper Andy - vibes watcher Lady Sheherazahde - facilitator, notetaker We have a relationship to a student organization. UPM has a dual registration as both a ministry and a student organization because the out going board was concerned that the organization would disappear if the ministry was unable to pay its yearly dues. Lady Butterflyrain will find out more about the dues (When they are due and how much) and report at next meeting. Katia the Renegade will prepare a treasury report for next meeting Fundraising will be on the agenda at the next meeting. We agree to take a collection at UPM events to raise money for Ministry dues. Brian, Katia the Renegade, and Astes agree to organize a student organization and then seek UPM affiliation with reasonable assurance of UPM acceptance if they agree to abide by UPM Bylaws and Charter. Brian agrees to pursue migration of UPM website off the Student organization server and onto CURW server. Affiliated organizations are responsible for sending representatives to UPM business meetings. Members of affiliated organizations are not necessarily members of UPM but may chose to be members. Item 3 - Revise Bylaws We reviewed the proposed Bylaws line by line, approving changes as we went. Under the provisions of the existing Bylaws the revised proposal was passed unanimously with the exception of Article IX which was tabled for revision at a subsequent meeting. (See approved revised Bylaws attached) Item 4 - Revise Charter We agree to revise the section "Amendment and Ratification of the Charter" to match Article X of the revised Bylaws. (See approved revised Charter attached) Item 5 - Appointment of Webweaver, Treasurer and Chaplain under new Bylaws Brian was unanimously appointed Webweaver. Katia the Renegade was unanimously appointed Treasurer. Lady Butterflyrain was unanimously appointed Chaplain. Item 6 - Chaplain's report There will be a performance of Spirit Dancers at Ithaca College on The next Business Meeting will be held on Thursday April 12 at 6:30pm. Lady Butterflyrain will make the room arrangements and post them to the list. Meeting adjourned at 8:55pm. |
