Uniquely Yours
Hello, and thank you for visiting my website.  I hope this introductory page and the attatched links will raise your curiousity about my artistic trade.
The fused (or melted) pieces are cut by hand and can not be reproduced.  There are approximately three layers of glass that have been fused at 1500 degrees.  Once they have reached their maximum temperature, the kiln is then vented to 960 degrees.  It takes about 24 hours to set up, fuse, and cool down the pieces.
I also make beads using a torch that reaches 1200 degrees.  This type of art is known as lamp work.  Once the bead is made, it is put in a fiber blanket to let the heat drop slowly.  It is not the first bead that is hard to create, but making the identical match by memory.
Again, thank you for visiting my website.  If you would like to contact me about custom made jewelry for weddings, unique gifts, or to match a particular outfit, please feel free to leave a message.  I would love to hear your ideas, comments, and questions.  My art can also be found in Illinois at the Market in St. Charles, Ginger's in St. Charles, and The Aurora Public Art Commission.
