Normal Girls, Normal Friends

In my nature of wearing a disguise
I have lost friends when I remove my mask
My mask has long since been off
And more and more people begin to flock
toward me
I walk out into the world every morning
Unashamed and unawares
I look forward to seeing my new family
The family of friends who love me
With the mask or without
They do not pine and they do not claw
They only send their love with open arms
We sit and laugh
Joke and taunt
Just like normal girls do.
