Banshees

Shadows are growing darker
I see their reflections in the mirror
All this evilness taunts me
And all it’s faces grow nearer
Down the stairs I fall
Banshees attacking my skull
Wood and nails tear at my flesh
And open wounds spill out blood as I
fall.

Reapers and demons
Lurk in my shadows and footsteps
Goblins and ghosts
Desecrate my life and ruin me
Stones and clods batter my flesh
Bruises breakout all over my body as I
roll.

They won’t let me find light and colours
They won’t let me seek my golden
gladness
But I know someday I’ll find it
Cause my God holds me close
And comforts me
He heals my wounds and battered flesh
And kisses my sorrows good-bye
