Aimless, Relentless, and Grey

You're aimless

Your heart us confused and silent

You're guilt-driven

Love ridden and completely pale blue

You have a home

But you've locked yourself out

Your broken window is too broken to see through

And your eyes are tainted in black

Don't let your guard down

Keep the gate locked

I'm no good for you

Keep me under your belt

Don't look now

But you're pushing me away

Casting stones to the sky

And relentlessly holding on to your lost love

Walking through deep water

Everything looks the same

Shade my eyes with red

And colour me grey

Send me off to my watery grave

My heart us angry and screaming

Both in pain, we walk through our friendship blindly

You're not interested and I'm not complaining

The words haven't come to me yet

But I will find them, eventually
