She came into this world screaming but was soon perfectly content in my arms. Little has changed. She is a cuddly little girl who loves 'squinches' (hugs) and 'besitos' (kisses). She is opinionated and verbal yet quiet and peaceful.

Leilani is tall for her age and looks older than she is. She has beautiful, dark down, curly hair and deep, soulful brown eyes. She adores music of any kind and loves to dance, play the drums and piano. We are trying to encourage her musical side which she gets from her father.

She is learning both Spanish and English and understands both pretty well. She can recite the alphabet in English and say her numbers from 1-10 in both languages. She loves to learn and show off what she knows. She enjoys taking things apart to see how they work just like her father did as a child.

She is shy with strangers and wont let someone she doesn't know hold her. This may hurt some peoples feelings but I am happy for this and hope this will serve as a protection for her.

Leilani is a true joy in our lives and we are looking forward to making many more wonderful memories with her.
