Naoko was born on 15 March 1967 in the Yamanashi Prefecture of Kofu Japan. Her mother's name is Ikuko, her father's name Kenji and yes, her brother's name is Shingo. Got the picture?

She graduated from the Kyoritsu Chemical University. She wanted to be a manga-ka too.

After her graduation, she took a job as a pharmaceutic at the Hospital Keio. She liked to draw manga as she worked. Even though she worked full time, her editor always pushed her to creat more manga.

Naoko Takeuchi and Yoshihiro Togashi got married January 6th 1999. They spent an ideal honeymoon in Spain and Turkey.
