KAVIKULGURU INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE, RAMTEK , KITS as it is popularly called. Located at 50 Kms from Nagpur, the Orange City, in a small village called Ramtek. The village, surrounded by hills on three sides is a famous tourist place because of the histories associated with it. Ramtek, as it is called because it is said that LORD RAMA visited this place on its way for Lanka.
GAD MANDIR
This old historic temple is situated on top of the hill and was constructed by the maharaja of 1500 B.C. Also you get to see the Kalidasa smarak, were kalidasa wrote the famous play MEGHDUTAM. This is not all go little far from this temple and there is the famous KHINDSI LAKE, were you can take a boat ride and spent lovely moments with your families and friends.
ADMINISTRATION OFFICE
The recently constructed this new administration building is a three floor building, with the office in the basement and principals chamber and conference hall in the ground floor. The first and second floor is were the classes for MBA's are conducted. This new building has really added a new look to our college, built at the estimated cost of rupees 60 lakh.
OUR STUDY ZONE
One of the best part of our college, this library is the largest library among all Engg. Colleges of Nagpur, with over 2 lakhs books and technical stuffs. The library also provides the book bank facility for poor students who cannot afford to buy costly books. There is also a video room were you get to see lots of technical films to enhance your knowledge. At the entrance is lovely fountain where you sit and relax yourself after the tyring study. Also this has become the most famous spot for Prem Dewanes & Dewanias. .
OUR PLAY ZONE
This Indoor Stadium is the best sports complex in Nagpur, You have the basketball court & the Badminton court in the ground floor with a Gymnesium having all modern amenities to help build your muscles. At the first floor you can refresh yourself by playing Table Tennis, Caremboard, Chess etc.. This is a great zone for all sports lovers. At the entrance you have a beautiful garden that adds more to its beauty..
OUR LIVING PLACE
This is the place were Boys stay 'THE GREAT TRIVENI HOSTEL'. This two floored hostel is occupied by 2nd and final year students. There are seperate entrances for 2nd and 4th year boys. At each entrance you have a big lobby were boys usually plays cricket in summers. The hostel is surrounded by beautiful garden all around, that makes it a really cool place to live at..
THE GUEST HOUSE
This is what is the WHITE HOUSE of our college or you can say the Presidents House were our college's chairman and secretary stays during there visit to the college.
