Everyone makes you feel very welcome. On move in day there were New Student Assistants helping everyone
move in. The dorm that I live in, Cance, is only four floors of students compared to some
that are 24 floors of students. My roommate is named Rich and
is a great guy to chill with. I love being in a co-ed dorm. I have some cool neighbors
named Kevin and John, Chris and Dan, Ryan
and Adam.Ryan is a tennis pro and a brother of Delta Chi. Adam is a super business
genius with a funky voice, and is hilarious sober and drunk. (He has been hired by Arthur
Anderson for post graduation work.) On the other end of the hall lives Leo, a groovy
future beat poet. He has a private Zine called Basic Shyte. If we are lucky, we get
3-4 issues a semester. (Sr: He has now moved on to music. Check out his band's, Coalescent Blais,
website. ) Every hallway has a Resident Assistant (RA) and mine, named Noelle
was amazing. She is still a student in SOM with me and always is around to provide
extremely helpful advice.
Here are some pictures from Spring Break 1997 in London when I visited Adam. This first
one is a (very dark) picture of me in front of Big Ben. The
entire atmosphere in London was great. The subway or "Underground" was extremely
clean and cared for its passengers as it said, "Mind the gap" as everyone exits.
The food was okay, The United States makes the best food (especially on a student's
budget). This is my friend Sarah, she came with me there. Madame
Tusad's wax Mueseum was very realistic. Superman had his
own statue. So as you can probally figure out, I got a picture with him
Back to the college table.
