Riding the wave of the hottest rap single in the
country "Get Low" with ATL kingz Lil' Jon & Eastside
Boyz, D-Roc and Kaine, also known as the Ying Yang
Twins return with their latest serving of good ole
southern friend crunk - "Me and My Brother".
1. Them Braves - Just your basic introduction of
the Ying Yang Twins to those who don't know who
they are.
2. Hanh! - Classic crunk song with the Ying Yang
Twins giving the world some more southern slang to
ride to. Very good song.
3. Whats Happnin! (f/ Trick Daddy) - This track has a
synthesiser beat to it which works with Trick
Daddy's southern flow. Kaine and D-Roc hold their
own with T-Daddy on this blazer!
4. Grey Goose - If you don't give a fuck/put your
middle fingers up/and your Kool-Aid in my cup/give
me that grey goose - goes the hook. Not too much
to this track. Not feeling this one too much.
More club track than anything.
5. Salt Shaker (f/ Lil' Jon and The Eastside Boyz) -
Lil' Jon returns to put his signature hitmaking
stamp on another southern track. Club track as
well, but this time it works where Grey Goose did
not. I'm seeing this video on BET Uncut already.
Track is a banger and a winner.
6. Georgia Dome (Get Low Sequel) - To the ceiling
to the flow!/till that hoe don't want no mo!/that
bitch better have my doe! I'll let everyone else
decide if this is a true banger or if the Ying Yang
Twins are tryna milk this one just one too many
times. Song clocks in over 6 minutes, a little too
long for my taste.
7. What the Fuck! (f/ Killer Mike, Bonecrusher) - Yet
another get crunk song. Killer Mike lays a tight
verse. Bonecrusher drops some pretty tight vocals
as well. Ying Yang do their part as well. Nice
track.
8. Callin All Zones (f/ Hitman Sammy Sam, Khujo) -
Top notch track! I'd love for this to be a single.
Anthem quality to it. Ying Yang kill their verses!
Hitman Sammy Sam shows potential NOT seen in the
song Step Daddy. Khujo, well, he's from the Goodie
MOB so you know he's dropping knowledge. Great
Track.
9. Me & My Brother - Another street banger! Crunk,
but doesn't have that tear da club up mentality the
earlier tracks had - and that's a GOOD thing.
D-Roc and Kaine are killing this beat. Another
winner.
10. Hard (f/ K.T.) - This track is straight laced
with some heat! Another nice track.
11. The Nerve Calmer - song/skit - Tight
nonetheless.
12. Naggin' - The video song. You've heard it.
You either like it or not. Starting to gain some
heat like Get Low but not quite. Decent. Not
feeling it too much.
13. Naggin' Part II (The Answer) (f/ Ms Flawless,
Tha Rhythum) - The female response - enough said. I
wasn't feeling the first one too much and surprise,
surprise - I'm not feeling this one either.
14. Armageddon - The Ying Yang Twins finish this
album up the way they should. Crunk, Crunk, Crunk!
This beat is very similar to Pastor Troy's No Mo'
Play in G.A. - the flows are similar too. Tight
track. Nice way to finish it up after the Naggin
tracks. Hooks lack a lot to be desired but hey,
hooks ain't their forte.
Overall, I was very impressed with this album. I
could see the progression that the Ying Yang Twins
were making on this record. This album had all you
expected plus some very pleasant surprises. In
this day and age of guest appearances, the Ying
Yang Twins stand on their own feet doing a very,
very nice job along the way. I recommend this
album to all those who love the ATL/south crunk
scene.
