Three New Kings aka TNK is a trio outta Fort Worth, TX consisting of brothers Young G, Tazz, & Quinn. Their latest effort on Millennium Records features Toi Box & D-Gotti of Wreckshop Records.

1. Texas Boys (f/ D-Gotti)-- this has has an upbeat party N.O. bounce beat with horns. TNK teams up with H-Town's D-Gotti and basically rep for all the TX cats out there with rhymes about their big body cars and cash. There's some pretty good tongue twistin on here as well.

2. Ourtyme-- this track has laid back computer generated type beat that will have ya bobbin ya head along to the song. TNK comes with some tight flows and are basically talkin bout how this is their time to blow up in the rap game and how they've gone from nothin to something doing this independent shit. Nice catchy hook on this one too. This one is a banger that you're gonna bump over and over.

3. Uh Oh-- this track has a pretty simple beat over a bassline. TNK is talkin about what all comes with the rap lifestyle--the fast cars, fasr women, and fast cash. The chorus goes "uh oh, here we come in a whole lotta 'Lacs with them 20's sittin fat and the screens in the back/uh oh-here we come with the guns and the gats and ready to ack an azz tell me how U luv that". They got a nice flow on this one and I think it would make a nice radio single if given the chance to get some shine.

4. Bounce-- this track has a bouncy feel like the track title would indicate. It sounds like your typical Louisiana booty club track. Not too crazy about this one myself.

5. It's On U (f/ D-Gotti)-- this track has a simple beat that is pretty much nothing more than a bassline. D-Gotti does not come that tight on this one at all. TNK also disappoints on this one with their flows as compared to their other tracks on the album.

6. There They Go-- this track has a nice laid back stutterin type beat that will force you to get into the song whether you want to or not. TNK is also talkin about flossin and ballin. It sounds like somethin Ke'Noe would bring to the table in terms of the beat and the hook.

7. Skit

8. Why U Hatin (f/ Toi Box)-- this track has a midtempo beat over a bassline. TNK raps about folks hatin on their success in the rap game and how they can't explain why those same people hate just because they had a plan in mind when they started this rap shit.

9. Hit Em Up-- this track has a beat that will get your blood pressure rising. This sounds like your classic throw yo hood up track with it's hook that goes "Northside hit em up hit em up hit em up/Southside hit em up..."

10. Fuck Whatcha Talkin Bout-- this track has a midtempo beat on some tick-tock shit. TNK come with some on point flows that is a bit faster than what they've brought on prior tracks. Really bumpable track worth checkin out.

11. Can't Be Touched (f/ Toi Box)-- this track has a midtempo space age pimpin type beat. TNK brings a more laid back style to the mic on this one and rap about reachin baller status as a rap group.

12. Skit

13. It's On Now-- this track has a really nice beat that will make ya wanna go out and kick some ass. TNK is basically rappin bout talkin the talk and walkin the walk. This one is worth a peep because it sounds a little different from anything else they've given us on this album.

14. Southside-- this track has a nice laid back beat that will have ya head bobbin. TNK come with some tongue twistin flows and paint the picture of the hood on the southside. Really tight song here.

15. Still Smoking-- this track has a elementary school happy-go-lucky type beat. As you can tell from the track title, the lyrical content is about smokin that green sticky and gettin high all day long. Just a good track to get smoked out to.

16. No More Games (screwed)-- TNK rap about how they gettin paid now and now they gonna fuck those up who wanna talk shit to em. The voices are a little muffled on this screwed track but it's bumpable.

Overall, the production on the album is on point for the most part. I think that with the popularity of screwed and chopped albums in Texas, groups like TNK are often overlooked becausee they aren't associated with DJ Screw or Swishahouse. But these guys have a lot of talent and they're bound to get their just due. I do wish they would have come with more variety lyrically on the album instead of just talking about the same subjects all the time. But TNK has a unique sound that often sounds more Midwest than Texas that helps distinguish them from other groups in the Lone Star State. This is a good album worth checkin out.
