T.I. is finally back with his highly anticipated sophomore album "Trap Muzik" on his own imprint Grand Hustle. The album features Max Boney Of The P$C, 8Ball & MJG, Bun B Of UGK, Jazze Pha, David Banner & more.

1. "Trap Muzik" (Ft Mac Boney) beat kicks in, nice and mobby gets the head in the bobbing motion which is always good. T.I. On the hook for this track "It?s a Trapp - This Aint No Album This Ain't No Game - It?s a Trapp (Trapp Muzik) (x4)" T.I. And Mac Boney both switch off and drop good verses for this track, they talking about this is a lifestyle living in the Trap it is a everyday hustle don?t get it confused. Towards the end the tracks takes a halt with sort of a skit and beat change, T.I. comes in spitting finishing the track off with another verse.

2. "I Cant Quit" nice laid back beat, has some nice chilled guitars going to it, this is like a walking through life thinking of what I got to do type of feels. T.I. talking about how he cant quit this game, talking about all the tribulations he done been through in just his short time coming up in this game. Talking about the record deals he been through, moving from the dope game to the rap game, the albums he should of sold, loyalty, just everything you encounter while trying to strive and make it in this game. The hook is clean he talking about how everyone hating on him, the police, jealous folks, other rappers, you know how it goes when you on top of things haters come out everywhere.

3. "Be Eazy" beat is some damn bumbles gets the trunk rattling and heads turned, has that nice chilled bassy feel just kick back relax and bob your head. The second single right here, and little more down tempo ed from the first single. The hook is nice and catchy "Be Easy" being chanted over and over while T.I. talking about just chill, you don?t want no trouble or drama. T.I. spitting good all throughout this track, its just a real laid back catchy cut where he talking about how he on top of things and how he done put his work in for the city of ATL.

4. "No More Talk" another laid back track, this sounds like a city living type of beat, walking through the streets of the A type of shit. The hook is coming good again he basically talking about all these people dying for the wrong reasons and how rap is not what it used to be with all these untalented rappers. T.I. is bringing it on this track, he getting a little more in depth talking about how life is a war, people dying left and right, he also breaking down on rappers who aint talking bout nothing just the same old shit that don?t mean nothing.

5. "Doin My Job" classic song being sampled right here, this is one of the track that just makes you feel good, relax have the sun on your back with the music pumping. T.I. talking about his days of hustling and how he had to sit out here and take care of things, that was his job, was no other hustle for him that?s what he had to do to survive. On the hook he meshing with the old school sample, talking about don?t be mad at him he just doing his job. Another good track right here, he showing his skill giving you different types of track and showing his diversity.

6. "Lets Get Away" (Ft Jazze Pha) this is one of them guaranteed sexing tracks, getting the panties wet, long night of beds rocking type of deal. This track reminds you of the track he did with Too Short from his first album, this is a just a nice chill track where T.I. talking about how he encounter all these different women worldwide and he just want to get away to show these women the way TIP do things in the bedroom. The hook has Jazze and some female giving the track that nice slow sexual feel, "Lets Get Away" makes you want to go out and find some women and make a night of it.

7. "24?s" first single, you know this track has been blowing up everywhere on radio stations, this beat is just crunk and makes you want to just get buck and wild. T.I. coming on the more up tempo fiery tip for this track, this is just a ATL anthem right here, rolling them 24?s all around town, doing it big. The hook is just that crowd mover type of shit "Money Hoes - Cars & Clothes - That?s How All My Folks Roll - Blowing Dro - 24?s That?s How All My Folks Roll".

8. "Rubberband Man" David Banner on this beat, the man has been getting a lot of his production out right now and this is another good reason why, this track is like one of those southern versions of the hard knock life tracks. T.I. is coming as what a lot of people would call cocky on this track but he just ripping it and showing why he is capable of saying what he does. The hook is clean goes like this "Rubberband Man - Wild As The Taliban - Nine In Right 45 In My Other Hand (Who I Be) - Call Me Trouble Man - Always In Trouble Man - Work For A Couple 100 Grand (Who I Be)".

9. "Look What I Got" beat is slower, one of those harder hitting southern beats, more of a gritty feel. This track T.I. talking about how life is good for him, all the cars on the clean ass rims, houses all around, boats, you know all that good living type of shit. The hook is pretty much following the same trend as the others on the album, more heat on TIP?s part and another solid track right here.

10. "I Still Luv You" slower track, this is like one of them lovey dovey type of tracks, something for your main girl type of deal. T.I. getting personal on this track talking about some girl in his past and how he still love this girl even she hates him now, his intentions were never to hurt her, and he hopes that she can forgive him for all his wrong doings because we all make mistakes. The hook goes like this "I Still Luv You - Don?t Hate Me Shawty - I Still Luv You - Now I Only Wish I Could To See That Your Intentions Were Good".

11. "Let Me Tell You Something" a real clean beat, this has that Roger Troutman type of feel, real clean back feel makes you think of them old school love songs from back in the days. The hook is pretty simple on this one but catch "Shawty Let Me Tell You Something" pretty much being said over and over. T.I. coming on the slower tip once again, this is just like one of them romance your girl type of tracks, give them what they deserve because when you got that one true girl that down for you, she worth every minute and every cent.

12. "T.I. Vs TIP" mid tempo beat, catchy in its own way, its some of that space age southern music is pretty much what can be said. Creative track right here, this is like him going against himself, he playing two different roles, the differences between T.I. and TIP they just exchanging back and forth how one trying to play the good role and the other trying to play the bad role, its like the devil on one shoulder and god on the other, you have to make your own path.

13. "Bezzle" (Ft 8Ball & MJG, Bun B Of UGK) beat is real clean, more midtempoed sounds like that southern church music mixed in with that southern street shit. T.I. hooking up with some southern legends right here, everyone dropping it hard on this track, nothing really to be said you know how it be when these type of artists come to the mic. The hook is on sort of that scratch sample feel, a lot of southern artists are starting to do this, real catchy and popular as of late. The title of this track tells all, if you know what that is you know what this track is about, keep it bumping.

14. "KINGOFDASOUTH" this is one of them kick back country funk type of beats, nice clean beat that represents the south well. The title of this track got some heads turning on the last album when T.I. Chanted he was the King Of The South, well he basically talking about why he says what he says all throughout this track. The hook goes like this "What These Other Folks Talking About - I Don?t Believe That Shit - Im The King Cause I Said It And I Mean That Shit - A Whats So Special About Him - I Set The City On Fire And You Seen That Shit". T.I. showing why he one of the south?s greatest lyricists right here, talking about all these fakes rappers out here, all the bullshit clogging out the good music, you think you got what it takes then step up to the plate and challenge the man.

15. "Be Better Than Me" another real chilled tempoed track, just makes you relax ride out on the freeway type of tracks. T.I. talking about how you got to get up out these streets, its too late for him but there is plenty of opportunity out their for these young cats and that is what you need to take advantage of. The hook is just one of them for the kids type of deal, do better and get out their and do something with your life, don?t let the streets get to you.

16. "Long Live The Game" real slow ass beat this is just some vibin out in the chevy type of shit, real good track to end the album out. T.I. giving you your money?s worth giving you 16 full tracks none of these skits, he just showcasing his skills to end things out, a short track but at least he gives you your moneys worth, listen to what he has to say more knowledge bring dropped down to end the album out.

The production handled by DJ Toomp, San Chez, T.I.P, Kayne West, Fury, David Banner, & Jazze Pha was very good, a lot of different styled tracks from a good host of different producers. You got a little bit of everything on this album the hard gritty southern anthem type of tracks, kick back riding in the chevy type of feels, or you got some kick back hotel motel bout to get some cut up type of jams. If you have been a southern rap fan and followed up on T.I. you have pretty much seen him grow from the young man that brought out "Im Serious" to the man that has now brought you "Trap Muzik". A lot of first impressions were who is this cocky guy thinking he is King Of The South but after you understand who he is and what he is trying to express through his music it all makes sense. This man knows how to make music for people, if he makes something for the clubs it will be true to his roots and where he came from. He is not the type of rapper that will just make a club track for the clubs or a pimping track to act like a pimp. Each album is like a portion of his life put on wax, he may have a track that might not really appeal to the average listener but he flips it in his own way and makes it catchy to get his message across. The album is like living life sometimes you feel like hustling, sometimes you feel like messing with some hoes, sometimes you miss your ex-girl, sometimes you hate all this garbage music out their, all the shit we as real people go through. He makes you feel on his level with topics, able to relate and see him as a real person and not this superstar rapper. The south often gets criticized for not having any lyricists and that?s gives T.I. another reason for being cocky because he can spit with the best of them. Each album seems to be a open invitation because he is basically telling you most of these rappers out here cant take him and they know it, if you think you can step up. The album as a whole is basically one big hit, you pop in the CD, start from 1 and before you know it your at 16 without having to skip any tracks. This is a great album all the way around, you can see the growth in more ways than one. Overall it is pretty evident we are going to have to free up another spot for southern hall of fame because we have another southern legend in the making.
