Southern Affiliate hails from Miami, FL and looks to make a name for themselves in the Dirty South. The 5-man group is made up of Problem 13, Peta Bladez, Red Don, Kuwait, & Loso Dirty. The album on Lockin It Down Records features 24 tracks and guest spots from Greggy Skunt and Zinnia.

1. Intro

2. Believe Me Or See Me (f/ Kuwait, Loso Dirty, Problem 13, & Red Don)-- a midtempo keyboard beat over a pounding bassline. This track gives you an eerie feeling with the beats. Nice blend of vocal styles make this a nice song to start the album with.

3. Guerilla (f/ Red Don)-- Red Don raps in a style similar to Mystikal in that it's raspy and semi-rapid fire delivery. Not quite as polished as the former No Limit Soldier though and the beat isn't all that tight either.

4. Hustle Hard (remix) (f/ Problem 13)-- this track has an eerie creep up on a nigga beat. Problem 13 brings a high energy flow to the mic similar to Busta Rhymes. "I know it's hard on these streets maan - you got to hustle hard just to eat maan - you got to watch your back and always pack your heat maan - or you find yourself laid out on the concrete maan". Very nice song.

5. Interlude

6. Blockhead-- nice laid back computer beeping type beat over a bassline. Loso Dirty comes with a tight flow about what life is like on his block full of killers and drug dealers.

7. Living In Poverty (f/ Problem 13)-- this track has a simple shifty stuttering type beat over a bassline. Problem 13 raps in a laid back flow about living life as a broke nigga and trying to come up with a plan to rob a nigga. Decent track worth checkin out.

8. What Chu Gonna Do? (f/ Red Don)-- this track has a slow piano beat over hi-hats and a faster bassline. "What chu gonna do when we come thru - we got a hundred guns, drugs too". It's more of a declare war on the streets type song.

9. Interlude

10. Fuck Babylon (f/ Kuwait)-- Kuwait doesn't really bring a tight flow on this one. He raps about how all these years, his people have been enslaved in the US.

11. Herbalistikz (f/ Problem 13)-- very tight beat that has that eerie West Coast gangsta beat we've come to love over the years. Problem 13 comes to the mic about his favorite weed and why he likes to get smoked out. Tight song.

12. Game Affiliated (f/ Loso Dirty)-- nice midtempo beat with some horns over a bassline. Loso Dirty comes with a tight flow that will have ya head bobbin along to the track.

13. Interlude

14. No Smokin Free (f/ Red Don & Greggy Skunt)-- this track has a simple drumbeat bassline with hi-hats. Red Don & Greggy Skunt rap about how ain't nobody smokin for free. Not feelin this one too much.

15. Dance Muthafucka (f/ Problem 13)-- this one has the brass and New Orleans bounce feel to it that makes ya wanna shake ya ass. Perfect club song that'd make a good BET Uncut video. Otherwise, skip it altogether.

16. 31 Flavaz (f/ Red Don)-- this track has a simple midtempo beat. The hook goes "we got that fire, hot, hits we drop - like soda pop, ah hits the spot". Decent track but not one of the best on the album.

17. Interlude

18. Mr. Negro (f/ Peta Bladez & Problem 13)-- tight little beat with a Hispanic feel on the track. Peta Bladez starts it off in his heavily accented flow throwing in Spanish words every now and then. Nice track but the chorus has got to go.

19. Keemie (f/ Problem 13 & Zinnia)-- this track has a stuttery Murder Was The Case type beat behind pulsating basslines. Problem 13 flows about how he is doin his thang and those who ain't with him- fuck em. I ain't really a fan of R&B hooks but this track is worth checkin out nonetheless.

20. People Say (f/ Red Don, Kuwait, & Problem 13)-- this track as a slower piano beat laced with hi-hats made perfectly for the tweets in ya ride. Everyone comes tight on this song so it's worth checkin out to find out how they feel ahout everyone around them who claim they with them if they succeed, but question whether the same would be true if they flop. Tight song.

21. Interlude

22. Bring The Drama (f/ Red Don)-- this track has a beat that is nothing more than a bassline with lots of sound effects. I'm just not feelin Red Don's flow too much. Skip it.

23. 50 Deep-- this track has a hook that begs you to "don't sleep cause they comin 50 deep". Southern Affiliate ends the album off with a tight posse-like cut.

24. Outro

Overall, the production by Problem 13, Money D, and Devastator X is decent throughout the album. The CD starts off promising in the beginning and seems to tail off toward the later stages. More seasoning would do this group well and make them someone to look for in the future.
