KL hails from Decatur, Alabama and drops his debut album on Still Grindin Entertainment. The 18 track album features Bama Boy, Po Me, Prophet, Mallory Gray, & Nick Kennedy.

1. Intro

2. I Am KL-- this track has a nice midtempo beat. KL brings some laid back flows about how people didn't really believe in him but now he's about to blow up in the rap game. It's a decent track to start the album off with.

3. On The Grind-- this track has a nice laid back beat. KL brings a nice flow to the mic about how he's grindin to make that chedda and he can't be stopped. The hook complements the song well to make it one that you can just sit back and chill to.

4. Come On Now (f/ Po Me)-- this track has a midtempo beat with some synthesizers mixed in. KL doesn't really come that tight on this track because he's mainly just talkin over the beat while each verse is ended by the words "come on now".

5. Skit 1-- answering message from some girl that leads into the next track

6. KL Ain't Shit (f/ Mallory Gray)-- this track basically has KL rappin a response to the girl on the answering machine message that said he ain't shit while the chorus has the girl singin "KL Ain't Shit". It's a bumpable track although the chorus is a little annoying after a while.

7. Hips & Whips (f/ Prophet & Mallory Gray)-- this track has a decent midtempo beat. Prophet has a nice flow and is the standout rapper on the track. It's a bumpable track.

8. 2 Kountry Boys (f/ Bama Boy)-- this track has a nice laid back, piano laced beat. KL is up first with a verse about how small his town is and how country it is. Bama Boy brings a New Orleans drawl to the mic while droppin a nice verse. Both the flows and beat are on point to make this a very tight track.

9. Tha Come Up Pt. 1 (f/ Prophet)-- this track has a beat that has a live band feel to it with the pianos and drums. KL & Prophet rap about they're gonna blow up soon and be living the glamourous life. It's a decent track.

10. Skit 2-- another answering machine message but this time the girl apologizes

11. Got Some Things To Do (f/ Mallory Gray)-- KL raps about how he would like to stay with the girl he's fuckin but he's got shows to do and dope to slang. The track is pretty nice but would have been better if he would have dropped the singin from Gray off the track.

12. U Caught My Eye (f/ Nick Kennedy)-- this track has a decent midtempo beat and KL also brings some decent flows to the mic. It's a nice track worth giving a listen to.

13. We Dem Niggas (f/ Bama Boy)-- this track has a nice beat with just a tiny hint of similarity to Scarface's beat on "Mary Jane" or Ashanti's "Baby". Bama Boy again drops a standout verse. Tight song.

14. Things Just Won't Go Right (f/ Mallory Gray)-- this track has a midtempo beat that I wasn't really feelin too much. KL raps about how he's gone through some bad luck lately. Overall, I'm just can't get into the track too much.

15. Would You Have My Back? (f/ Mallory Gray)-- this track has a nice beat that'll have ya head bobbin along to the track. KL drops a verse asking if things would change if he was broke while Gray drops a similar verse asking if things would change if she couldn't be there for her man. Nice track.

16. Haters Like You (f/ Bama Boy & Nick Kennedy)-- this track has a decent midtempo beat. KL is up on the first verse but he doesn't comes back with some nice flows at the end. Bama Boy rips the mic about your typical bling bling shit. It's a bumpable track that's worth checkin out.

17. Tha Come Up Pt. 2 (f/ Bama Boy)-- this track is basically a remix of Track 9 and keeps the pianos but this time they add a nice bassline to go with it. I'm feelin this one a little more than the original because both KL and Bama Boy come tight on the mic.

18. U Better Bring It (f/ Bama Boy)-- the beat on this one isn't all that great while KL and Bama Boy rap about how the haters better bring it if they plan on fuckin with them or the record label. Decent flows to end the album off with.

Overall, the production by KL was pretty good for the most part. He has a decent flow but I thought the album may have benefitted with more harder cuts. Also, I thought the singin of Mallory Gray brought down some of the better tracks on the album. But overall, a decent effort from an up-and-coming Alabama talent that may make a name for himself in the future.
