Kenny Nogood reps Detroit, Michigan but bares no comparison to the Motor City's more famous hip hop names. His new 15 track album on his label, Dark Colored Productions, features Shady Pinez, Diph Jones, & Carnage.

1. World's Darkest-- this track has a midtempo beat with a lot of sound effects in the background. Kenny Nogood has a simple rap delivery and takes you on a journey to the darkside. I'm not really feelin this first track too much. Just not much that stands out to me on this track.

2. Unemployed But Never Broke-- this track has an 80's old school beat. Kenny Nogood comes with decent verses but again the problem for me are the loads of unnecessary sound effects on the track that clutter up the track.

3. Bitch Get Da Fuck Outta My Window-- skit

4. The Devil-- this track has a space age, computerized beat. Kenny Nogood raps about wanting to be in the rap game but ending up in the dope game instead. It's an all right track.

5. What's Right-- this track has a nice laid back midtempo beat. Kenny Nogood lays down some real lyrics about retaliating to those who are looking to fuck you up first. It's a bumpable track.

6. Tired Of Bullshit-- this track has another old school soundin beat. Kenny Nogood raps about how unfair life really is and how he's tired of the all the shit that he has to go through. Not feelin this one too much.

7. Drink My Life Away-- this track sticks with the old school feel of the album. Kenny raps in a robotic-like style about drinkin to cure all his ills at the moment while taking the perspective of an alcoholic.

8. Yo Girl Is My Hoe-- this track has a midtempo beat over a bassline. Kenny drops a couple of verses about fuckin another man's girl. It's a decent track.

9. Hoe Sermon-- this track has a beat that sounds like it belongs on a sci-fi TV show. Kenny Nogood raps about his hoe in a way that would make Too Short proud. It's a bumpable track.

10. Still Spittin-- this track has another old school beat that kinda reminds me of Prince's "Kiss". Kenny Nogood raps about how he's proud to keep an old school style and still manage to build his own label. He also takes time to diss on the new breed of rappers that can't fuck with him lyrically.

11. Liquor Store-- this track has a space age pimpin type beat. Kenny Nogood tells us about all the shit that goes down day in and day out at the local liquor store. It'll bring back some memories for anyone who remotely spent time in a liquor store and bring a smile to your face cause you know it's all true.

12. I Ain't Him-- this track has a beat that seems like it was ripped straight from an old Atari game. Kenny Nogood doesn't really bring much to the table on this one but Shady Pinez manages to drop a decent verse.

13. They Hiring (intro)

14. They Hiring-- this track is basically about the differences between the white man and the black man when it comes to hirings and firings. It's a decent track that worth checkin out.

15. Do That Shit-- this track has a nice laid back beat that's a combo of synthesizers and other sound effects. Kenny raps about those who think they are better than him and who want to take him out. It's one of the better tracks on the album.

Overall, I just couldn't get into this album no matter how hard I tried. I understand that Kenny Nogood's style is old school and the beats on the album reflect just that. But there just isn't anything in Kenny's voice that makes him stand out or gives him a unique quality that makes me wanna bump the album over and over. Because all the beats have that old school feel and numerous unnecessary sound effects, the album just seems to drag along from track to track.
