Kenny M.O.B. is a Georgia native who now calls Tampa Bay home. The former leader of the rap group Southern Mafia drops his solo debut album on Kingpin Entertainment. It features M-1 Da Shiz'nit, Nitro, Dirty Wee, & Nasty Nate.

1. Intro

2. That's My Shit-- this track has a laid back midtempo beat with a little Florida flavor to it. Kenny MOB does a pretty nice job with this track that's guaranteed to get the clubs up in a frenzy. It's a decent track to start the album off with.

3. Born In The South (f/ M-1)-- this track has a nice laid back beat mixed some scratchin and synthesizer sound effects. Kenny MOB does a nice job reppin both Georgia and Florida. M-1 comes tight on his verse as well. This is a good track reppin the Dirty South in full effect. Nice lyrics, nice beats, & a catchy hook.

4. Oh Yeah-- this track has a lot of brass in the beats and almost takes on that big band sound. Kenny MOB puts it down for all the thugs out there all across the country. The hook is a little weak but overall a pretty nice track that's worth listening to.

5. Who The Man-- this track has that space age pimpin sound that starts to get a little tired as the song winds along. Kenny MOB laces the track with an all right performance but overall, I just wasn't feelin it much.

6. Joe Hater (skit)-- we don't normally write anything about skits but this one is a little skit about M-1 in which a little reference to our review of his album is mentioned....would've been nice for them to plug our website by name.....just kidding

7. Da' Dirty (f/ M-1 & Nitro)-- this track has that raw Dirty South sound that we all come to love in Southern rap. M-1 starts the track off with a decent verse. Kenny MOB is up next and comes with a nice verse. Nitro is a female rapper out of the Sunshine State and she also comes correct on the mic. The hook goes "it's the dirty, the dirty, the dirty fuckin south". This is tight track that's guaranteed to get ya hype if you live blow the Mason Dixon line.

8. All My Thugz (f/ Dirty Wee)-- this track has a midtempo beat that reminds me a little of Nelly's "Air Force Ones" beat. Dirty Wee comes with a tight verse. It's a decent track worth checkin out.

9. Pop Star-- this track has a laid back beat with some horns over a nice bassline. This is one of the stripper, shake that azz, BET Uncut type tracks. Not really feelin this one much but it'll probably be a favorite over at the strip club.

10. Down Here (f/ M-1 & Nasty Nate)-- this track has a funky blues guitar beat over a bassline. Kenny MOB starts it off and lets us know how the Southern playas do it down south from the golds in their mouth to the 24's on their rides. Nasty Nate comes tight as hell with a faster style of rap that borders on tongue twistin at the end. M-1 comes with a decent verse as well to end the track out. Nice song that you can ride to.

11. Wide Load-- this track is dedicated to all the women out there with the big booties. This one doesn't have that much replay value to it and you won't be missing much if you just skip it.

12. Time Goes By (f/ Dirty Wee & Nitro)-- this track starts off with a tight little piano loop before the bassline kicks in. This is one of those slow, heartfelt tracks that make you reminisce over your fallen loved ones over the years. Tight song all the way around.

13. Let Her Go-- this track has that funky, pimpish beat with the snares snappin on the bassline. Kenny MOB raps about how you can't turn a ho into a housewife so it's best to send her ass packing. It's an all right track.

14. Da' Dirty (DJ King Arthur Mix)-- this track has more of a gangsterish New Orleans style beat. M-1 starts it off this time followed by Kenny MOB and Nitro. This version is better than the original in my opinion but both versions are worth checkin out.

15. Outro

Overall, the production on the album is pretty good. Kenny MOB shows a lot of potential on the mic and will almost certainly get better as the beats come tighter. Given the chance, I could see a couple of songs from the album making nice radio singles. So go out and check this album out if you're looking for some raw Dirty South rap from an up-and-coming artist. You can check out Kenny M.O.B.'s music samples at www.musicmatrix.us
