Grimm Gottie is a New Orleans native who hooked up with female rapper Tazz to lay down tracks with. They added a third member, Dope, to the music stable, and the trio collectively known as Kutthroat Villains now rep Houston, TX. They come with their 15 track debut album on their label, KTV/SWI Entertainment.

1. Gots No Time-- this track has a rock guitar sound on the beats. Grimm rips the mic with a rapid fire delivery while Tazz interjects with comments like an annoyed girlfriend. It's a bumpable track to start the album off with.

2. Flipp That-- this track has more of a New Orleans sound to it with all the horns and heavy basslines. It's more of a booty shakin, bounce dance track. Tazz does come with a nice verse but the track kinda drags aloong at the end.

3. Fyia Work-- this track has a laid back beat over a bassline. Grimm comes with decent verses on the track about slangin and bangin in SW Houston. It's a bumpable track worth checkin out.

4. Baby-- this track has a N.O. sound to it as well with the faster basslines. Dope comes with a nice verse on the track. Tazz comes through with another tight verse as well. The hook is a little cheezy to me but lyrically the track isn't that bad. The beat changes as the song fades out to a more evil soundin beat that made me wish that was the beat they rapped over on the whole song.

5. On My Block-- this track has a darker feel to it with it's pianos and guitar strums. Grimm and Dope lay down verses about all the shit that go down on their block. It's a decent track worth checkin out.

6. My Hommies Taken-- this track starts off with a solemn soundin beat. Grimm lays down some heartfelt lyrics bout all the homies he's lost and all the shit he went through growing up. Pretty nice track.

7. Twerk Something-- this track has a slower soundin N.O. beat but at the same time, the lyrics have all the makings of an up-tempo ass-shakin club track. So the beats don't really match the lyrics. Tazz is the standout the artist on the track. The girl's definitely got some skills cause she's rappin with a little fire in her flow.

8. If I Die-- this track has a slower, laid back beat while Grimm raps in a sing-songy style (a la Nelly) about what would happen if he died. It's not that bad of a track.

9. Jack Move (Skit)

10. We Don't Advertise-- this track has a mid tempo beat with a catchy hook "we don't advertise, boy we only terroize, we comin' in disguise...." Dope comes with a tight flow on his verse. Decent track worth peepin.

11. Get Krunk-- this track is another bounce type track designed more for the clubs or parties. There really isn't much on this track that stands out for me.

12. Girl That Ain't Mine-- this track has a tight slower, laid back beat. Grimm & Dope come with some tight flows about havin an affair with a girl who ends up pregnant. These are probably the tightest beats on the whole album and lyrically, they are on point as well. Very tight song.

13. Fa'shiggady Fa Show-- this track has a slow, laid back beat over a bassline. The flows on this track are pretty nice and just something you can sit back and ride to. Nice track.

14. Take It To The Streets-- this track has a midtempo beat with some scratchin mixed in. The trio come with some decent verses to the haters out there and challenge them to take it to the streets if they wanna say something. Another bumpable track.

15. Twerk Something Remix-- Grimm gives us the remix to end the track off with.

Overall, I thought the flows from Grimm and Dope were really nice. Tazz was impressive in that she raps with a little zing behind her delivery that you don't often see from female MC's. The production for most the album wasn't anything spectacular (Track 12 & 13 were pretty nice) and little repetitive it seemed. I thought the basslines were overused at certain points on the album as well. Though the group now reps H-Town, the N.O. sound is very much present on the album. Overall, a nice debut album worth checkin out cause you'll probably be hearing from them in the future.
