In the last few years, Ludacris has gone from local Atlanta Hot 97.5 DJ Chris Luva Luva to rap superstar, but he hasn't forgotten about his buddies. Disturbing Tha Peace aka DTP consists of Ludacris, Shawna, Infamous 2-0 aka I-20, Tity Boi, Lil Fate, & DJ Jay Cee. Guest appearances on the album include Mystikal, Twista, Scarface, Too Short, Jazze Pha, & more.

1. Break Sumthin-- this song aims to get you crunk right off the bat. Ludacris starts the song off and comes tight on the mic. Shawna is next and surprisingly she comes with a tight verse as well. Luda does the hook which is nothing more than the chant "break sumthin, break sumthin...shake sumthin". Lil Fate and Tity Boi trade verses next. Tity Boi kinda reminds me of Jay-Z the way he sounds. I-20 finishes it out with a tight ass verse. Overall, a very nice start to the album.

2. Growing Pains (Do It Again remix)-- this is one of the two singles released from the album already and is a remix version of the original version which was on the "Word Of Mouf" album. I actually like this version better. Besides the slower new beat and the "let's do it again" sample, new verses were added by Shawna and Scarface. Lil Fate and Ludacris both have the same verses from the original song and Keon Bryce left the vocals to the hook the same as well. Most of you have heard this song by now and I don't know about you but it actually brings back a lot of memories for me just by some of the stuff they mention in the song. Each person on the track lay down a tight verse in my opinion. One of the best songs I've heard this summer.

3. Posted-- this track is a solo effort by Chicago native Shawna. It has a Middle East soundin mid tempo beat over a snare bassline. Shawna even acknowledges that the beat "sounds like some N.O.R.E. shit". Shawna's OK on this track but I was waiting for a guest appearance. Not one of my favorite tracks on the album.

4. Smokin Dro-- this track has a distinctive Texas sound to it made even more obvious by I-20 because his voice sounds like it's screwed down anyways. Tity Boi starts it off with a decent verse. I-20 comes off tight on his verse about smokin and ridin in the Escalade. Ludacris ends the track with a tight as fuck verse in which he changes the speed at which he raps as the verse goes on. My favorite track on the album by far.

5. Big Chain Records (skit)-- I usually don't comment on the skits but this one had me rollin the first time I heard it. This is one of the funnier skits I remember being on an album. It's about an artist named MC Medallion who is signed to Big Chain Records who's main concern is the size of the chain around it's artists' necks. Just some funny shit that cracked me up.

6. Pimp Council-- this track comes with a tight mid tempo beat. This track has Too Short playin the judge of the pimp court. Lil Fate raps a verse in which he's tellin Judge Too Short how he slept with another man's girl and Short finds him guilty of "pimpin under the influence". Shawna is up next and presents her case to Short and raps about how men can get away with doing the same shit she's doing. Short orders the bailiff to take her into custody. Ludacris is charged with "impeding hoe traffic" and he drops a tight verse in which he and Too Short trade lines in the style of defendant vs. judge. Too bad Short didn't drop a verse but if anyone is fit to be the judge of the pimp counil, Too Short is. Very tight song.

7. Play Pen To The State Pen-- this track has a laid back heavy bass beat. Tity Boi starts it off with a mediocre verse in my opinion. Dolla Boy lays down an all right verse. The hook is kinda wack too. Just not feelin this one.

8. R.P.M.-- this track features Chicago rapper Twista and you know from the album title that the beats and flows are gonna be comin at you 100 mph. The standout rapper on the track is Shawna. Man, she flows her ass off on two verses and tongue twists right there with Twista. She really surprised the hell out of me that she could tongue twist. Twista come tight on the mic as well while Ludacris only raps the hook. Very tight track.

9. Can't Be Stopped-- this track has a sample of an old skool song for it's hook which gives this song a retro feel. You Texas rap fans are gonna like I-20's style of rap because his voice is so deep that it sounds screwed already. This track which is an I-20 solo is definitely bumpable.

10. Behind The Chain (skit)-- this is a parody of VH1's Behind The Music and takes a look at the rise and fall of Big Chain Records.

11. A-Town Hatz-- this track has a that ATL beat and hook that sounds like something that Outkast or the Dungeon Family would bring to their albums. Lil Fate is up first and drops a decent verse. Tity Boi is up next and he drops a nice verse too. I-20 is up next and drops a line about callin himself R. Kelly cause he's "fuckin wit kids". The hook is pretty catchy and you'll find yourself noddin ya head to it.

12. N.S.E.W.-- this track starts off with a bunch of scratchin and ends up with a mid tempo beat with a nice bassline. N.S.E.W. stands for North, South, East, West. Shawna and Tity Boi both drop tight verses. I-20 reps for the East while Lil Fate reps for the west coast to finish the track out. Another catchy track with a catchy beat that you can just ride to.

13. When I Touch Down-- this track features one of the hottest producers out now, Jazze Pha. The way that Lil Fate raps on here reminds me a lot of Lil Wayne's style (even voice wise). Listen to it and see if you agree. Nonetheless, it's a pretty good track. Jazze Pha adds some vocals later on in the track to finish it out.

14. Outro On Ya Ass-- this track has an east coast feel with a beat similar to Notorious B.I.G.'s single "Dead Wrong". I-20 starts the song off and ends every line with the words "on ya bitch ass". Tity Boi is up next and ends each line with the words "wit my slick ass". Lil Fate is next and ends each line with "his short ass". Ludacris ends this track and ends his lines with the words "on yo puss ass". I ain't really feelin the beat on this one--too much scratchin for me. Overall, a decent track that's bumpable.

15. Move Bitch (bonus track)-- this is the DJ KLC produced single that was originally on "Word Of Mouf". You've been hiding in a cave if you haven't heard this one by now. Ludacris and I-20 drop nice verses while Mystikal sounds wack in my opinion.

Overall, I thought this album was one of the better albums to drop this summer. I like it better than "Word Of Mouf" although I wish Ludacris was on more tracks on this album. Critics of DTP will say that they are just hanging on Ludacris's coat tails but each member of DTP has got talent to hold their own on a solo project. They just wouldn't be as well known without Ludacris. Critics of I-20 say that he doesn't blend well with the other members of DTP but surprisingly he does so on this album. He didn't sound out of place at all to me. The album is too short and that's with the "Move Bitch" bonus track. So a couple of more tracks would have made me happier but overall, it's an album worth checkin out.
