Dosco Records - The Dirty Game
Reviewed By: ULTIMATECDLINK
Album Rate: 4.0 out of 5 Stars

Little Rock rapper/producer Dosco drops the first album from his label Dosco Records. The album features some of the Natural State's and Dirty South's up-and-coming talent including Chuck Sweet, beedee, Hayz, GP, Griff, Wicid Youngest, Boo, Stutta Man, Wicid Boyz, Syreous "The Golden Child", & more.

1. Boston & Kayla (Intro)

2. Dirty Game-- this track has a nice laid back mid tempo beat. Chuck Sweet, GP, Dosco, Griff, Hayz, & beedee all rap on this one. Dosco & beedee drop some pretty tight verses. The hook goes something like "let's talk about this dirty game/talk about the dirty game". Nice lil track that's bumpable.

3. Ain't Go Never Change-- this track has a weird little futuristic synthesizer beat going on. Chuck Sweet & GP rap on this one but it's kinda hard to hear them over the beat. I'm just not feelin this one too much.

4. You Ballin-- this track has a slow melodic beat with a nice bassline that you can sit back and ride to. Dosco, Chuck Sweet, Suavio, & Worldwide rap in that Texas style on this one that's all about sittin back and ridin and flossin. Definite Texas influence on this one...even a mention to Flip & Hump in one of the verses. Nice song here.

5. Wicid Youngest-- this track has a dark, laid back beat to it. Syreous The Golden Child starts it off with a decent verse. Stutta Man is up next and like his name states, he stutters through his verses and I don't mean like Silkk the Shocker. He actually sounds tight the way he raps. The song is really short though but still Stutta Man stands out on it.

6. The South-- this track has a nice mid tempo beat and is basically an ode to the Dirty South and all the things that make us the Dirty South from gold grills to flossin out. Very tight track that you need to check out.

7. Run It-- this track is a solo track by GP. He drops some solid verses and shows he's got some flow to him but the beat on the track doesn't really do him justice. Nice flow, but the beat needs to be changed.

8. Ride & Smoke-- this track has that slow Pimp C-type beat that makes you wanna just sit back and smoke out. Chuck Sweet & GP drop some nice verses about smokin, ridin, and fuckin with hoes. Definitely one of the tightest songs on the album. Nice production too.

9. Honey Gold-- skit with some R&B singin as well

10. Get Em-- this track is some get crunk type shit that'll have ya ready to take someone out of their misery. Hayz is one of the latest entrants of white rappers from the South and he's got a decent flow. Nice bumpable track here.

11. Big Mic-- they go back to the futuristic synthesizer beat along with some horns and shit mixed in with a snare bassline. It's not that tight of a track mainly because of the beat.

12. Lighter-- this track has a really nice mid-tempo to upper tempo to the beat and rhymes that'll have ya head noddin throughout. Suavio starts it out and drops a verse about bling bling type shit while reppin for Little Rock. Stutta Man is up next and lays down a tight verse. Syreous The Golden Child drops the next verse with some clever little rhymes. Tight song.

13. They Call Me-- this track has a laid back beat that'll also have ya head bobbin to the beat throughout the song. More Texas sound on this one. Boo raps the entire track and names a reason for all the different things that he's been called. One of my favorite tracks here. It's bumpin all the way though.

14. Fuck These Hoes-- this track is another solo effort by Hayz. The beat is not all that tight and basically nothing more than a simple bassline. Hayz doesn't come that tight on his flows either.

15. V.I.P.-- Syreous The Golden Child and Stutta Man rap on this one about all the things the hoes do at the club in V.I.P. Decent flows but the beat gets tiring after a while.

16. We Go Hard-- this track has a tight beat to it and is basically a laid back Little Rock anthem track. The Wicid Boyz come hard on the mic and Hayz drops a couple of nice verses as well. The hook is catchy as well. This is destined to be the new anthem for LR. You Arkansas boyz out there need to get this one on the radio cause it could do some things.

17. How We Talk To These Hoes-- this track has a funky blues type beat. Chuck Sweet starts it off and lays down a nice verse. beedee is up next and brings that sing-songy type rap to the mic. Chuck Sweet drops another decent verse before Dosco finishes it off with a tight verse. Bumpable track worth checkin out.

18. Boston & Kayla (outro)

Overall, this album is definitely a bumpin album that is one of the best to drop outta Arkansas. Some of the beats aren't that great but there are some standout beats as well. Nice flows from a lot of the rappers on here too but maybe too many rappers on this album makes it hard to follow who's rappin when. But if you're looking for new music outta the A-State, check this one out.
