DJ Drama one of the mixtape kings right now brings you the first volume in the Legend Series and who better to be the feature than the great Bun B of UGK and his protégé’s MDDL FNGZ.

Bun B is a damn legend...anyone from the South can agree. We all had UGK in our decks in the early days and even the younger generation is up on these boys. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Pimp C had to take a little vacation but Bun B has been holding it down for UGK lately and just been everywhere and is in the stages of putting out his first solo album. A real smart man, because a lot of people know who UGK is but maybe persay don’t know who he is, so he is doing so much right now trying to establish that Bun B name so when his solo drops it will be a success.

This mixtape is a feature of current hot songs that Bun B is featured on as well as some hard Bun B freestyles. He gets started quick busting a flow on the intro, instantly gets the head moving, already a tease we want that solo. Bun stop holding out like a girl that know shit got the bomb ass pussy. He busts another flow "Free Pimp C" you already know what this is about, this one is over the Ciara "Goodies" beat, shit this beat sounds so similar to like three or four other songs, all they did was add a instrument, starting to hate this beat but at least bun gives you a good flow about his counterpart, FREE PIMP C!!

MDDL FNGZ and Bun B going hard on the freestyle tip for the song "Don’t Make Me Freestyle" which is on that Eightball and MJG first single. Bun B is stand out out for sure, but still waiting on that new MDDL FNGZ they need to put that shit out it been years since they said it was dropping.

Bun and his boys bust a few more freestyles on here, they spitting on that Lloyd Banks "On Fire" beat, Anthony Hamilton’s "Coming Where I'm From", Eightball & MJG’s "Don’t Want No Drama," and Paul Wall and Bun B hook up on the "Jesus Walks" beat towards the end of the album, all of them come pretty good, just something to supply the fuel till the bun solo album drops.

Besides the freestyles they do throw a few tight songs in the mix, the new Slim Thug song ft Bun B And TI "Three Kings" goes hard, the new young Jeezy single "Over Here" makes an appearance, the lost track from Big Gee ft T.I. and Bun is on here, that’s a dope track.

That latest Boosie single "Show Ya Tats" is on there, Boosie and Weebie album hard go get that plus this mixtape, also that "What You Gon Do Remix" goes hard. Bun B got the first verse on that shit, pretty much good songs and good freestyles, what did you expect from Bun B?

Mixtapes, Mixtapes, Mixtapes they coming out by the shitload, it’s a great way to showcase new music and know what's hot, usually just like the clubs a mixtape DJ aint really putting your shit on their less you a pretty hot or have a hot song. This was a good idea to do, to show respect to the legends who made the south be where it is at today. Bun B was a good one to kick it off with. He busted a bunch of flows, showcases his group MDDL FNGZ, and showed you some of his latest appearance work at the same time. Bun B been on it, he on so much shit right now its ridiculous got to respect the mans hustle. Overall probably going to be somewhat of a collectors item for UGK fans. A lot of these freestyles will never be on anything else, the songs may be but this is one you get for the exclusive shit, support Bun B, support UGK, and FREE PIMP C!!!!
