I started this story back in 1998. It was my first attempt at fanfiction. Like all good Bonanza stories, I killed the heroine off in the first sixty pages, however due to popular opinion, I resurected Cat and turned the story into a saga. You need a lot of time to read this in full.
Cat De'Maine is the daughter of a rancher. After losing her family, she's forced to work from ranch to ranch as a hand. She is given work on the Ponderosa where she meets Adam. The pair take an instant dislike to one another, but fate has other plans for them.
