Brief Description Of My Reasons For Starting Fishing
When I was growing up fishing was always around me, I live only 60m from the River Leven, this flows from Loch Lomond & into the River Clyde, so seeing fishermen all the time & talking to them really inspired me to give it a go, this and also the fact that most of my family fished. After a period of time, getting tackle, rods and the hand downs from the family I fell in love with fishing, it was the old scenario man vs nature, but not just that, it was something I could enjoy, it was relaxing and fun. You cast out, this time, this cast and when you do get a hit or bite everything slows down and you forget about time your energy is channeled into getting this fish in. The fight & playing the fish is the best part, but also the most nervous you're trying so hard to get it but at the same time trying to use your skills not to let it get off. You know that's what it's all about, enjoying yourself and having fun. So if you're not already a fisherman/woman give it a go, trust me you'll love it.
Why I Enjoy Pike Fishing
Through my years fishing I have come to enjoy all sorts of fishing, whether it be sea, fresh water, fly ,game, whatever it all produces the same results. The reason I have come to the site creation is because its one species that really interests me, you know its a predator, king, beast, its distinguishing features etc. The fact that you know if you get one on you know your going to have a fun time trying to play it, with this sort of fishing the object is not catching to eat, survive, its non existent to me and many other I know its about playing the fish, trying to fool it and outsmart it using an array of techniques and lures to entise it , its fun fishing you're not catching the fish then killing it, you catch and release, you respect it, the animal, live and let live you know.
