...Leaving For the Saturday Cruise...
Arrived at around 10:30pm Friday night, after leaving later than orginally planned due to the very hot weather.
With it seeming darker than usual, we slowly made our way to the Registration tent and booked in for the weekend. We then made our way across the camping field's even slower, as the ground wasn't exactly flat and it was getting harder to see where we were going. After no luck finding people we just parked up and set up.

Awoke Saturday to find the sun shining and temperature's heading well into the 80's. I Headed straight for the showfield to see the hundreds of vehicles assembling for the cruise, and took loads of pictures as they headed out down the main exit road. It's always good to see the Rod's being driven as they should be.
Took another walk around the campsite at dusk Saturday with the camera, capturing some very nice picture's of the Old Warden House and Rod's as the sun went down.

Sunday was yet another very hot day, however a slight breeze helped to keep us all from overheating.
Firstly took a walk to the top of the hill to take some pictures of the landscape, showing the showfield with well over a thousand vehicles on and the Old Warden House in the background. (See Next Page for those pics).
Walked around the showfield with the camera at the ready and took the picture's that you will see on the next page. Some excellant Rod's and Custom's on show with a clear increase in overall quality!

Overall yet another good SuperNats put on by the NSRA!

And then on the way home... About 15 Miles from Old Warden, between Junctions 6 and 7 on the A1 Southbound.
The waterpump goes! After a few hours and some phone calls to the AA, nothing happens! No tow truck and no phonecall back to tell us whats heppening. By now we had been standing on a small enbankment for about 3 hours in the pitch black, with no street lights and no armco barrier where the van was, and to make it even worse we were on the inside of a bend.
Well nothing happened for hours, so we rang the police, they finally managed to get us to South Mimms Services and after another 90 minutes wait we were luckily picked up by a tow truck which had just dropped someone else off at South Mimms and was heading our way to Essex, so we finally ended up getting home at 4:20am after leaving old warden at 8pm.
