Welcome to my NSRA Hot Rod Drags 2003 Picture and report pages.
Looking at the weather forecast on the Friday we were very tempted not to come this year, but after waking up to pure sunshine Saturday, we packed the van and drove for 4 hours up to Shakespeare County Raceway, arrived about 2:15pm, no rain on the way up atall, then a mile from Shakey, we hit a storm, luckily it wasnt as bad at Shakey and the racing was up and running by the time we had set up and said hello to everyone. Caught a few hours of racing then had a good saturday night, didnt see any of the band though as i was too busy with people i hadnt seen for years, i heard they wernt too bad though.

Sunday morning, Oh my god, its not raining! Awoke at about 10:30 after a 'late' night, grabbed a burger and off to the grandstands. Good weather, and some of the best times yet on some of my dads mates van's (Joe's Thames, Bob's CF, and Terry's Dodge pick-up) so the track must have been very good!
Caught most of the days racing, not too many stops, but it cant be helped. Left for home about 6'ish after a very good weekend! One of our last big runs this year, and a good one aswell...
I took as many pics as possible, sorry about the long shots, but thats what you get sitting in the stands, even with zoom.
