NEW  SYSTEM OF  READING BASED ON EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS

This New Reading System evolved is powerful in so far as dissemination of knowledge, and reading for entertainment, accross the globe is concerned. One may wonder if this is a Nobel Prize winning work, if one considers its impact on global scale!

We make it clear, this is an info sharing site; no commercial interest.

Just think of if there were to be stalls for reading books and magazines by paying a small sum (About 5 percent of the face value of Books or 20 percent for Magazines), how nice it would have been. That may result in a rapid dissemination of knowledge all over the world. This could be the only reading system best suited for the fast moving world which is adicted to buzy life, internet and TV channels. Even internet may not have information on many subjects & events. There again, the materials will have to be printed before reading lengthy items, isn't it?

'Buy Books & Read' is a century old slogan. This doesn't seem to work. Who can afford to buy even a few of the books & magazines which are published in large no. now a days? For instance, in India alone there are 6000 Dailies and 16,000 Weeklies! How can one safegaurd for long time the piled up books  after buying them? Most of the books & magazines become out dated within no time. Books on Universities set up may become out dated if Computer aided roam and learn system to earn degree comes into effect all over, shortly. Vast number of novels and stories and mythology may not be understood properly by next generation simply because each couple may have only one child; how then youngsters know what is meant by brother, uncle, sister-in-law found in todays books?

Dr Raj has developed a New Concept of Reading. That is -No book buying! Even if books are given free, one may not be willing to take them home and pile up when one is pretty sure no body else in the house likes them? Based on his Reading Experiments, the following are indicated:

Any individuals or organizations may set up Reading Stalls by keeping books & periodicals for reading there itself (on the spot). Start in a small way, gain experience and then expand to any size. Visitors read and then pay here about 5% of the face value of Books or 20% for Magazines per hour, soon after reading. Any reader can enter into such Read & Pay Stalls(RPS)that may be opened any where in the world. No membership here! It is like we visit  restaurants. RPS may look like library with no membership.  That is how Read & Pay Stalls (RPS)should  work!

By this method of Reading,  more than 30 thousand books and periodicals can be read in ones life span at a very cheap rate! Millions of children, women and aged (all non-earners?) in developing countries gain access to reading material.
This is a low cost reading technique.

What do the Authors or Publishers gain by this system? Writings reach rapidly inumerable readers all over the world, through RPS(Read & Pay Stalls). This means creative writers become popular in no time. Whereas in the present system of buying books, writers become famous that sometimes may take half a century!

Let us imagine that a prominent personality like American President writes a book. Its prize may be around $30.00. In India it may work out to be Rs1200=00. How many can afford to buy such a book? On the other hand, there may be more than 10 million persons all over the world wanting to scan through for $1.5 per hour (5% of book price) or Rs 10=00 at RPS. Also possible many may buy after going through the book.

Look at the other side of RPS. Interestingly, when once the readers are exposed  to books or magazines upon gaining access, they are likely to be tempted to buy books incidentally; clearly a boon to Authors & Publishers.

The velocity of dissemination of knowledge across the globe by this 'Read and Pay a Small Sum' method can be incredible. Want interesting Transparency/LCD Lectures?

Oh, Book-Sellers, what are you waiting for? Open RPS and  make this much awaited New &  Revolutionary mode of reading a Universal Reality!

About 8 lakh RPS are required to be open at towns & city wards all over the world - a rough estimate. If one book is to be kept in each RPS, it amounts to 24 million $ from a single title , that goes to Publisher and some amount there of to Author(s) as royalty.

Look at the other side. If 10 persons gain access to that title at each RPS, then 8 million readers it has reached within a short time. Just incredible!
