about me i am the Ugliness Man. you can call me ugli. i've been doing electronic music for a little over 2 years now, but i haven't really been doing a whole lot with it. at first i was doing stuff that sounded kinda commercial, under the name "to\A\st" or "toastTRAX". i wasn't trying to sell my music to anyone, it was just the kind of music i felt like doing at the time, it was what i knew. but i started to realize that it wasn't very fulfilling, and i suddenly just started doing minimalist and experimental stuff, using the moniker "Ugliness Man" this stuff isn't gonna get airply on any top40 station, but it feels right. and my music has been getting some exposure right now, the only "gear" i use is my 8 year old computer. primarily, i use Fast Tracker II and ModPlug Tracker. while this allows me to make the music i want to make, i have to sit at the computer and program and sequence to create it. the major limitation to this is that there's no way i can do my music live. i am currently trying to get some cheap second-hand equipment so i can put together some sort of live show, but it hasn't happened yet, so don't be looking for a "gigs" listing any time soon. contact you can contact me at uglinessman@gmail.com.
