We were looking toward the North-East direction for the presides. We then saw coming from the east and going toward the west (Over St-Hubert airport then Montreal )3 red lights in a triangular formation. There was no noise. These lights could not be mistaken for the presides as they were reddish and going at a constant speed contrary to the presides that were white and vanished soon after been observe. The triangle was observe approx 5 seconds.

My brother, his girlfriend and I were on our way to see a movie. I was sitting in the back seat of my brother's car. We were driving South on the 15 in Laval, when I saw two bright red lights towards the South East. It was hard to see how high it was. It seemed to be high enough from the ground, but it was too far away to be able to tell exactly how high. It was kind of like two plane coming over the horizon far away... I asked my brother and his girlfriend if they could also see the lights. They just seemed to float there. One was a little higher up than the other. They didn't see them right away because we were moving and objects like trees and buildings kept getting in the way. Once they did see them they said it looked like fireworks, but wouldn't fade away. It was a good description I guess. You know when a flare goes up in the sky and glows bright red? Well imagine the same glow, but bigger and brighter. They just suspended there for about 20 seconds. We past in front of an object (a bridge or building) and I lost them from view. I looked for 5 minutes afterwards but I never saw them again. I guess I can't rule out that they were flares, but they really didn't move any closer to the horizon like flares do, and it seemed to high to have been flares.

Well that's what I saw tonight. I wish I would have had a video camera!!

I was walking on the river promenade going east when I heard a sound like a baseball going thru the air very close to your ear, I looked up a saw a large blue and green sparkling sphere straight above my head at about 20 feet in the air. It was going at about 20 mph (not very fast) then it passed me and started to go up in a very steep manner then vanished as it was gaining altitude.

UFO Sighting in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Location:  Champlain Bridge
Time:  7:40 pm
Date:  Friday, September 27, 2002

I was driving on the Champlain Bridge going South.  It was raining.  I was in the middle lane almost on the highest point of the bridge when I saw from the corner of my eye, what looked liked a plane flying extremely low, coming from my right.

As I was getting to the highest point of the bridge (under the metal structure) the lights flew over the bridge in a horizontal flight pattern (it slowed down when crossing over the bridge)  I then had a good look at the light formation.  It then increased speed, where it broke its flight line at a right angle going up into the sky over St-Lambert.

As I was driving under the structure, I realized that what I was looking at, was not a plane.  The light formation was not a plane or anything else I had seen before.  It seemed that cars slowed down.  I was stunned.  What I'd like to know, did you get reports from others?  Did anyone else see this thing?  I could not have been the only one, who else saw this?

Description of UFO:

The basic shape of the craft looked like a small square which is wider at the top, almost like a truncated triangle or a geometric 'U' that widens half way up.  The whole thing was the size of the small truck.

I have a feeling I was looking at the end of the craft because I saw a light formation with lights that were circular, flat and red, which you would of seen at the back old car in the fifties. The lights were not 'bulb like' but rather extremely flat, and the diameter of these lights were the size of a dinnerplate. Four lights on each side and three at the bottom of the geometric 'U'.

Please let me know if you hear of any other reports from this sight.  All of a sudden this thing seems very important to me, I just want to know that others have seen this too and I am not losing my mind.

Witnesses Comment: Possible UFO ?

Date: September 15th ,2002
Time: 8:00 p.m.

To whom it may concern,

The following events occurred on Sunday the 15th of September, 2002.

We (my husband, myself and our two children) were on our way home from our country place near Huntington, QC to our home in Montreal.  As we were driving down the road just outside of Mercier I saw what appeared to be really bright stars in the distance.  After a few minutes I asked my husband " Are those airplanes up ahead, or really bright stars?"  Considering that tonight was overcast and no other stars were visible in the sky he responded that they were probably helicopters looking for pot fields.

After about 5 minutes the two lights ahead in the sky changed position.  The one that was higher up, and to the right remained in the same place, but the lower one to the left began to move westward at a fast pace.  Now we were very curious as it was moving far too quickly to be a helicopter.  Our 8 year old son who was in the back seat pointed out another one to the right of our vehicle visible from the passenger side. ( the other one was still immobile in front of us)  While we were stopped at a light ( around 8 pm) the one on the passenger side slowly flew over head.  I unrolled my window and stuck my head out for a better view...what I saw gave me shivers...this was no plane or helicopter.  The object was triangular with lights at all three corners.

I have seen thousand of airplane and helicopters at night, and never have I ever seen light formations such as these on an aircraft, nor have I ever seen an aircraft first be stationary in the sky then move quickly such as these.  We saw them for about 10 - 15 minutes, and there were about 5 different craft in the sky at the time...all of this same type though we only saw two of them fly directly overhead.  My husband, son and myself all saw the distinct triangle...and my husband swears he could see the sky through the center of the triangle.  This object appeared to be larger than a 747, and flying quite low for us to see it's shape so clearly.  There was not a star in the sky as it was over cast.

After we crossed the Mercier bridge and passed the  Dorval airport we saw many other airplanes ...some flying directly overhead...and I did not see anything that looked like this triangular object. ( Not to our surprise as I had previously mentioned it moved like no other aircraft we had ever seen.)  Our son said it might be  a stealth bomber..which I refute due to the fact that it was much larger than the stealth...much more triangular, had lights and as far as I know Stealth's do not remain stationary in the air.

Surely someone else has seen these lights...when we were stopped at the lights there were many other cars around, but none seemed to be gazing at the sky.....

Once we got home my husband and myself decided to  do a little investigation on the internet, apparently there have been a few sightings in Quebec along the St. Laurence river ( one even in the exact area we were in ) most involving triangular, or chevron shaped anomalies in the sky.

Is the Canadian government testing any air craft ( at night ) that would fit this description?  Or are they as I fear ( I'm a big chicken) U.F.O's?

In the hopes from getting feed back from people who have seen these aircraft, or at the very least know more about U.F.O's than we do, we are posting this account on pertinent web sites, and sending it out to some local enthusiasts.

Sincerely,

Quebec City, QC

Date: September 15, 2002
Time: 10:44 p.m.

At approximately 22:45 on September 15, 2002, I witnessed a chevron-like formation of 5-6 objects approaching Quebec from the SE at approximately 5-10K feet. Each individual object was of an illuminated white color, and seemed to resemble the shape of a bird. The formation was completely silent, and flew smoothly past several clearly identifiable commercial and private aircraft at a speed >250 mph. After the formation had disappeared in the NW sky, I observed two objects flying independently. Whether these had come from the formation I had observed is unclear. The first object was of the shape previously described. It flew at roughly the same altitude and speed as the formation, yet seemed to circle and hover in the WSW sky. Barring it's speed and luminescence, it's trajectory did fit with that expected from a hawk or other predatory bird. I can only describe the shape of the second object as a point of light. This object flew at a higher altitude than that already described (>10k feet), and reached incredible speeds. What was most impressive was the flight path that it followed; my best description of this object's trajectory would be "extremely ERRATIC". At such a high rate of speed, this object seemed to turn and bank with almost no leeway, in the same manner one might observe a firefly or other small insect to do as it is blown in the wind. I also described the pattern this object made in the night sky to a colleague as that which might be expected to result from someone moving a laser pointer around the ceiling of an auditorium. The possibility that a ground-based device created this image, however, can be ruled out by the fact that the observed object would come into and out of view as it passed behind sparse cloud cover.

QUEBEC -- Correction to the August 20, 2002, story about Jean L. and his wife Lina in Saint-Jean-de-Matha.  They took a photo of a UFO. They saw a white sphere, reddish on the bottom which passed over his house heading northeast. The sky was clear and the moon was visible behind it.  Correction -- The moon was BEHIND the observers not behind the UFO.  Thanks to Louis Y.

First of all I just want to say that I would normally laugh at the witnesses on TV that would describe such an occurrence.....and now I'm one of them....

I was just walking down the street tonight with a friend.....and for no apparent reason I looked up in the sky (which was clear by the way) and saw a formation of 5 V-shaped lights moving South flying at roughly 3 kilometers above us. We lost sight of it as it went around the rooftop of a nearby house....

There wasn't anyway that it could have been an airplane....the was no roar of an engine and besides, planes don't usually take that approach when landing or taking off at the airport (which is still a good 15 km's away).

As I stated the lights we in a V-formation, slightly larger in size than the stars in the sky and were a dimmed yellowish color.

Saint-Jean-de-Matha, Quebec

Date:  August 20, 2002
Time:  9:08 p.m. (EDT)

On August 20, 2002 at approx. 21:08 EDT our member Jean L. and his wife Lina in Saint-Jean-de-Matha, Quebec got an alarm on their computer. Jean grabbed his camera and ran outside and took this picture. They saw a white sphere, reddish on the bottom which passed over his house heading NORTH-EAST.

(The sky was clear and the moon was visible behind the witnesses! The object was not anywhere near the object the photo was taken).

When the object was above the mountains, it changed direction. The observation lasted between 3 and 4 minutes.
About 5 minutes later, Jean and his wife Lina observed six military aircrafts, three formations of 2 aircrafts heading in the same direction.

The camera used is a PRAKTICA, Aperture:2.8. Time exposure: 1/60 second, Film used: ISO 400

Here is the picture & the computer graph below.

Many thanks to A.S.E.P.I for sharing the report with us.
