Comments:
This is a very interesting CD. While the sound is pretty bad, there is a lot
of improvisation from U2 on this disc. The most noteworthy tracks on this
disc are "Acrobat" and "So Cruel". This might even be the only disc with
live versions of "Acrobat" on it, as U2 never performed it in concert, only
at the Hershey soundchecks. It is worth a listen. U2 tries everything from
reggae to country on this disc, and it's a real shame that this is an audience
recording, rather than a soundboard or DAT. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for
this disc, as I got mine for $8 at a record show, only after getting a copy on
tape. I liked what I heard, and I figured that $8 would not kill me. Everyone
should at least find a copy of this on tape, it's cool.
This is the original pressing on this label.
